Judge away because the last thing I want to do after buying food is cook it, and Matt and I are both spicy brained about food.

Matt has had the same lunch every weekday for 10? years - tuna fish packet with crackers and a honey crisp apple.

I will eat the same thing every day for six months then get sick of it and won’t touch it for years - yogurt being the most recent offender.

Guess I’ll have to mosey on over to his house and say howdy. Maybe he’ll give me a tomato.

Now we’re watching Best In Show with leftover Thai food and all I want to do is go to bed.

I appreciate an appropriate check and this was that time but in my defense! It's a fugue state to remember when you were the center of the Zeitgeist (2010's hipster) and you see the needle has moved without you.

I AM insecure about aging for all the reasons a white 43yr old woman in America should be, and reasons maybe I shouldn't.

Updates:

Knitting: 1 cowl, 1 shawl, 1 baby-ish blanket, 2.75 sweaters

Work: I officially got asked to join the team I've been "on-loan" to since June. HOORAY! Now I can focus on one job instead of two, I don't have to report to my shitty manager anymore and I like the work 100% better. Partly why I've been quiet is I haven't had the energy to do much else besides work, stress about work and knit.

Friends: 80% good. I am trying to move away from a couple friendship that is a decade old but not working for us anymore, mostly because of their excessive drinking and being kind of shitty people.

House Projects: shelves have been built, garden growing, deck building planned but not yet executed. The list grows longer every day.

Relationship: Solid Gold.

Family: practicing boundaries per usual. My mom's whole dementia diagnosis doesn't make it easy but I try.

Health: IBS is a real bitch. Other than that I'm off all meds and feel totally fine, or at least 90% back to myself before last year's health crisis. I can't even believe that happened tbh, but it did and I'm scarred for life.
