Based on my own trips to Sequoia because I love that place
Summary:
"Oh," Theo stops, stunned. "I think that's Sherman's tree."
"The General Sherman Tree," Buck corrects. "Gotta put some respect on his name."
"What did the general even do?" Eddie wonders aloud.
"Not sure," Buck ribs, nudging Eddie playfully. "I wasn't talking about him. I meant you gotta put some respect on the tree's name."
"Right," Eddie's grin still sits plainly on his face. "My bad. Just didn't expect you to assume the tree's gender."
Buck sputters, the laugh that emerges from him almost incredulous. He gives Eddie a playful shove, and Eddie dodges out of the way gracefully, situating himself next to Theo. Theo, who is still staring up at the feat of nature, slack-jawed and wide-eyed.
"It's big!" Theo exclaims, slightly breathless.
"The biggest, if you recall," Chris adds helpfully.
"Can I grow that big?"
Or; The Buckley-Diaz family takes a trip to Sequoia National Park. Buck and Eddie find their way to each other in the meantime.
