Wandering above the sea of clouds, Gabriel looked upon the vast surroundings of Treachery. Great mountains that have risen from the ground up tower over the clouds, but never able to reach further beyond their chosen limits. The snow, which had once engulfed the lands, reflects the rays of colors of setting light, overwhelming the drab grays.

Gabriel steps up near the edge of the cliff, admiring the view. If God chose to disregard such beauty, then Gabriel will choose to become its sole witness -- to all of the creations God has abandoned.

Leaning his head forward, the only thing he could make out from afar was a burning light. The glows of the light gradually faded out, its flames dwindling. Gabriel found himself slowly crouch below him, his knees plopping onto a mixture of snow and blood.

The flame that once lit up the skies was now gone, dragging its colors below. Everything looked much darker now to Gabriel. Further below he reaches the ground, eventually finding his body lying on a pool of his own blood.

Was very fun playing around with the correction layers in CSP! Worst part is cutting out all those pigeons it's such a tedious task 😭 Overlaying images on top of one another with a halftone layer sandwiched between provided such a cool result -- makes it look printed! I was originally gonna add wings to him here, but I had a hard time trying to fit them in, and I also realized that the arms behind him resembled wings (in a way).

Also wanted to share these rough sketches that were hidden around my files! Maybe I'll revisit some of these ones in the future....
