“history is just straight up dumb, though,” she responds bitterly, looking off as if to show uninterest. however, momoko shows herself to be a bit more passionate with her uninterest. “it’s all bias. it’s literally the same thing as the ‘he said, she said’ we discourage––people have different accounts of the events and maybe what happened isn’t quite what happened. it’s up to what the bigwigs are putting in the big books.”
“it depends on how you look at it,” she retorted, quirking an eyebrow. “i think that’s how it all began, too. memory is such a subjective thing, and makes for unreliable narrators, sure. that and the white man has monopolized history anyways, and that’s complete bs. but, personal history, how people remember things, i think that’s super interesting. the bias is what makes it interesting. it just depends on who’s bias it is.”

when she was eight she watched her brother die which definitely left an impact on her and made her want to pursue biology
this event also left her with a morbid fascination with the afterlife and paranormal events, and when she’s not studying or working, she’s reading something about ghosts and the various iterations of the beyond
