Aria's life had imploded. All in the span of a few years. She'd been stalked, hunted, lied to, taken advantage of and hurt so many times. Now all she wanted to do was leave it all behind. She couldn't think about her parents, her brother or even her friends.

She looked up at the man, her eyes meeting his. He wasn't human. He didn't even seem to be alive. Her mother had taught her about the dangers of the magical and supernatural world. The evils that lurked around corners and in shadows. She had powers. She could protect herself. People assumed she was helpless. Cause she was small. She wasn't. It was also kind of fun being reckless. She was putting herself in this situation, Aria had control of it.

he could sense the hurt and pain within her; though even without being able to tap into a human's emotions he still could tell. why else would she approach him? and if she didn't want to feel anything anymore, bas could help with that. though she probably wouldn't like his solution.

he knows she is magical, but witches never scared him. she's young, she could never have enough power within her to take him down. not that he planned on hurting her, not yet at least. not until he had a reason. his hand moves from her chin, instead brushing her hair behind her ear, grinning at her confidence. " I do... there's a reason you were drawn to this place. " all supernatural beings were, that was the point. that and of course for him to get business done.

Aria's hands moved up and around the male's neck. She didn't know his name. Maybe he'd told her, but she'd forgotten. Aria thought it maybe started with a B. She wanted to forget thought. Forget everything. The lies, the death, the trauma, exes, friends, the blackmail, her parents all of her. She wanted to pretend none of that happened. To leave it behind.

She leaned against his chest. Her ear to it. She heard nothing. He was cold, and there was not even a heartbeat. It should have alarmed her, but it didn't it was kind of calming. "What are you?" She asked.

as always bas was here for strictly business, but that doesn't mean he was going to turn up a good time when it presented itself in such a pretty package. it had only been a few minutes before her hands were on his chest. his hands pulling her closer as his mind raced with ways he could use this interaction to his benefit.
