Alligators are extremely vocal animals, making loud grunts called bellows year-round, but especially around their mating season.🐊

Make sure your little one WANTS to be in little space, don’t make them feel like they’re being forced into little space!!!

Not sure if this applies to everyone- but my little one finds it comforting and finds it easy to slip when I call myself “mommy/daddy”

Cradling you’re little one is a good one! I like to sit criss cross apple sauce and put my munchkin in my lap and put their head on my chest and secure them in my arms 🥰 adding some rocking and playing with their hair is a bonus! And some good forehead kisses

Similar to cradling, you can cuddle your little and have them suck on their paci or your finger! Give them their favorite stuffie to hold!

Giving them their favorite snacks and drinks in little dishes. 🍼 They’re little space bowls and sippies- it’ll help if you’re the one feeding them! “Let daddy help you!” Don’t forget to wipe their face when they’re all done! We don’t want a messy baby

Call them by their little names! My baby’s little name is “bubbles”- or you can use other names like “little one” “munchkin” “sweetie” “pumpkin” “baby boy/girl” “princess/prince” etc.

Doing things for them that they’d normally do on their own out of little space- such as opening things or reaching high places, brushing their teeth or hair. Saying that you’ll help because they’re “too little”

Asking them questions you’d ask a child. “What color is this, baby?” “How many pokadots are on this tissue box?” “What sound does a cat make?”

Let them hold your hand, more so, your finger. Holding one or two of your fingers instead of your whole hand makes them feel like your hand is much bigger than theirs!

🍓get them to do deep breaths, try the 478 trick

✨get them to play with a sensory item

🍓assure them that everything is ok, with many many pet names

✨get them to hold on tight to a stuffie

🍓hugs!!!! hugs.

✨let them hold onto your fingers or hide behind you

🍓if they have their paci, get them to bite on it. but not too hard!

✨ask them to count their fingers until they get to 30 while taking deep breaths

🍓ask them about something they enjoy, like a favourite character from a show or their favourite stuffie
