I don't like the Hiei and Botan ship either but there's no reason to be an asshole. Just let people have their fun, blacklist the tag, and block them if necessary. One thing to keep in mind is that neither Mukuro or Hiei are particularly fond of outwardly displaying their emotions. I think that they're about as 'couple-like' as one could make them without either seeming out of character. It is stated at one point that they express their emotions in battle, then Hiei breaks Mukuro's chains before she beats him. It's probably the greatest gift that anyone could possibly give to Mukuro. Mukuro also trains Hiei and helps to strengthen him while earning his respect, she helps him to find a reason to keep on fighting when he was just going to give up on life. They hug and now live together.
