YUP so agree! I once absolutely slammed down on someone in a group who was basically saying this kinda thing
i’m an angry person and i want to let it out and be an asshole but i’m also a nice person and i don’t want to actually hurt anyone’s feelings do u feel me
The McElroy’s have so much power it’s incredible like these motherfuckers tweeted “we’ll be on the jimmy fallon show at This exact date” and jimmy fallon, having three men who he does not know state that they would be on his show, was just like “yeah ok”
Justin is just gonna call up Donald Trump and be like you can go now we’ve got leadership experience, ever heard of a little place called SAFETY TOWN??????? And Trump will back up like you win boys.

I hope the next thing I get addicted to is taking care of my self and loving my body
ADHD makes me incredibly jumpy.
I could hear someone coming but will still jump when I see them.
It’s not being scared though, its like getting a jumpscare.
My ADHD mind just isn’t very aware of my surroundings so when I see them, its like they randomly popped into existence or teleported.
YES. The worst thing is when someone who’s an arsehole gets wind of the fact that I’m easy to scare and jumps out at me or makes loud noises all the time because they think it’s funny. goFUCKyourself
Interspecies lesbianism
It’s cute guys
nothing but respect for MY lesbian big cat couple
Butch/Butch couple
This is actually hella interesting, bc in simple terms, lions are extroverts and tigers are introverts. There’s more to it, but that’s the gist.
Whenever zoo’s tried to put lions and tigers in the same enclosures, the lioness would eventually try to groom the tiger and play constantly. The Tiger would lose patience and snaps at them
So basically what I’m saying is that you have a regal and refined gf who stands at the edge of a balcony during parties, sipping champagne
Then you have the other girl who drank all of the little flutes on the servers platter, and is now drunkenly pointing at her gf and telling everyone that that’s her gf and doesn’t she look beautiful I love her so much

Final Thoughts: “The Therapist”
I’ll be blunt: this is not my favorite Brooklyn Nine Nine episode. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it. There’s a lot of fun and sweet moments in this episode, especially in the Rosa-Holt subplot. While the Terry-Amy subplot doesn’t seem necessary, I love the sight gag of the whole precinct covered in colorful flyers about the book being accidentally delivered to Terry. And Jake ends in a good place, and his movie-fueled perceptions are wholly in line with who he is, and letting go of them near the end is great.
The show has always seemed pro-therapy to me, and that’s held up here. The episode begins with both Terry and Charles talking about how positive therapy has been for them, and the show makes clear throughout that this is about Jake’s issues with therapy, not something worse. The fact that the episode ends with Jake saying that he is actually going to call a therapist is promising. As I mentioned in a different post, I hope this is a thread they continue exploring. Throughout the series, and even earlier this season, Jake has made comments about not needing therapy or thinking it’s a scam. Now that we, alongside Jake, understand where this comes from, I think it’s important that we see this through.
The thing that’s really dragging this episode down for me is Jake’s scene in the therapist’s office, where he stalls, waiting for Dr. Tate to leave, by pretending to have multiple personality disorder. It just really put a bad feeling in my stomach to watch that. Jake is smart enough to have found a different way around that. He could’ve just explained the situation to her, or pretended to be a different new patient. He didn’t have to pretend to be this patient who is presumably seriously struggling with multiple personalities. It would’ve been nice for the therapist to at least call him out on it.
Brooklyn Nine Nine is taking a few weeks off, and I really wish they were going into this gap with a stronger note. Despite the fact that I don’t think this was the show’s best episode, I am already excited for it to return. I know some fans feel like Season 6 isn’t the same, but I feel like they’ve maintained the show’s spirit well and I’ve really enjoyed this season. There’s only seven episodes left in Season 6, and I’m so happy we have a Season 7 to look forward to next year.
Another more sensitive way of playing it would have been Jake just giving up and trying to tell her what was actually going on, like you said, but the therapist thinking he meant one of his alters. He could have continued trying to convince her that he was Jake who was a detective at the 99th precinct, thus the comedy without some of the icky feelings. I really did think it toed the line there.
So you actually blame yourself for your parents’ divorce? No, I blame the therapy, which we only had to do because I- oh, my god. I do blame myself.
