I watched Drive last night and I want to watch it again tonight. But I really should watch Only God Forgives
Heyyyy!!! Yes I love Drive!!! Super decent movie... rewatched recently actually! I always have such a good time with the fun and unique song choices, beautiful shots and waouuu I always say this, but Gosling did so great as Driver, what else can I say? it's pretty much peak!
As for Only God Forgives... If you watched it already, ignore me... But I definitely suggest looking into the warnings beforehand if you believe you might need to, very dark stuff! It's not a movie for everyone, but I'm sure you'll find at least something to like ;-) Beautiful cinematography, intriguing soundtrack... etc... I have a blast every rewatch trying to piece everything together too, there's a lot of brilliant analysis that could be done here, if that's something you're into!
Hopefully you have a good time if you decide to give it a watch!
thaaank you for making so much Only God Forgives art!! i understand why there arent many fanworks of julian in comparison to other ryan gosling characters, but he very quickly became one of my favorites. im glad he is getting more love :)

I gotta say, he's definitely one of my favorites (right up there with K and Lars I'd say!)... And like you mentionned, I totally get why there's less fan content for OGF compared to other Gosling films (not necessarily easy to understand, slow-ish pacing, dark subject matter, heavy violence,,,, just overall stuff that the average person finds unpleasant AND THAT'S SO REASONABLE!!!), but I really do wish people gave the film more of a chance... I remember being very curious about the movie at first and stopping myself from watching it in fear of wasting my time. Thank god I decided to go through with it! Sure I didn't necessarily enjoy it as much as I do now (it's definitely something you've got to watch more than once to understand semi-well), but I definitely don't think it's a bad film at all! I get why people might rank it low, but I tend to see it near the bottom everytime I see any Ryan Gosling movie rankings and it pains me juuuuust a little bit...
Thankfully, from what I've seen, people tend to appreciate Julian regardless of their opinion towards OGF which is a blessing!
All that to say, thank you for your lovely words! I'm so glad to be able to help people find fan content for characters they don't see very often!! Especially if I really like them myself! More love for Julian please! ;-)
