Are you ready for what you asked God for?
Are you ready for the love that you aspire to experience? Are you ready for the friendships you would love to have? Are you ready for the responsibility that comes from owning a business? Are you ready to commit and be consistent?
One thing I realize with myself is that I am not ready for what I ask God for and that is perfectly fine with me. I know I am still a work in progress and if I had everything figured out, what fun is there in that? There is so much love and joy in the fantasy. When it becomes your reality its just your life and you won't ask anything of it. But when you look back over your life you will see the late nights and early mornings you were on your knees crying out to God for delieverance, delieverance of his promises, love, peace, joy, faithfulness, and an abudant life. I've just come to remind you that no day has been unseen by God. Every word and statement you write out, God sees it. Now what God is waiting to see is your dedication to the things he has given you now.
How are you dealing with just doing your job or your school work? Are you slacking on that? How are you with your own health? Are you still not disciplined enough to not eat things that make you sick? Why would God give you anything if he knows the enemy can probably danlge the same type of thing but a toxic version and you won't give it up even if it makes you sick? God is never ever ever going to give you something you aren't ready for. And for those who are constantly waiting on God to make the first move...God says faith without works is dead. So get up off your feet and put in the work. Do not idolize productivity or how hard you work because that isn't right either. There is a difference between motivation and idolization. Productivity and your own self discipline makes you start to feel like you've done all these things on your own which is nothing but far from the truth. God is the one who gives us self-control and patience also contentment. We just have to take it. Then give him the glory for it because we can't do anything by ourselves. We aren't making the trees produce oxygen, God is doing that and you will die if you dont have that. So never think you are greater without God or anything of that nature. Truthfully you have no control over this life and it is a misttake to feel as if you do. Thats it thats all I have to say for now.
