The last two were so good I had to come back to talk about our Everbrighters
It's been a while since I posted...
BUT I watched the last two episodes of Campaign 4 and my hyperfocus on that angel-demon pair came back in full force, and I have things to say.
Okay, spoilers for campaign 4, episodes 27-28.

I love how Tyranny is conflicted about herself.
Girl, you don't just have to destroy, you can do so much more. You're only on this plane for six months. Just because you were created for something doesn't mean you have to follow it.
I'm really interested in why that fiend said that Tyranny's father "was one of those who stayed." Like, what does that mean? After the Shapers arrived, the Demons came out of the pit, and her father was one of those who stayed there?
There's also the Demon's question about whether she was conscious in the pit? And if her father had help assembling her body??? How could she have received help? She would need someone to create her mortal body. If this isn't explained, I'm going to return the aluminum hat to Armas' body.
I thought the question "How can I protect the angel by my side?" was very sweet :)
And now we have confirmation that Wick is indeed an angel, so we have our Unholy Alliance of a demon protecting an angel.
Wicander is so clever, my God!!!!
I'm talking about both episodes.
Wicander's best weapon is that everyone underestimates him, so he can fake exactly that and everyone will fall for what he's saying.
The speech he gave to his grandmother was SO GOOD!!
Tyranny's idea to expose everyone was wonderful, but Sam and Whitney's acting was the Cherry on the cake for Brennan to give then the Calamity Treatment.
Sam Riegel 2 for two, this man's performance to naturally achieve a 20 without needing to roll is masterful. The way he embodied the repentant religious man, so innocent that even the most powerful woman in the world couldn't argue with what he was talking about.
Not to mention when he exploded at everyone, those are the moments when I think we can see a "true" Wicander, not that we're seeing a fake one, but in those moments where he lets it all out and where I think "I can see this Wick in 50 to 60 episodes," where he finally left behind the self-blame of being naive, and uses his intellect to truly change House Halovar.
A Wick who has confidence, one who knows his strengths and knows where he can best use them.
That's one of the points I think we're heading towards, because in these last two episodes our dynamic duo seems to be finding Bolaire to become their way to a kind of mentor? guide? Because I'm really liking how Bolaire went from "Does anyone care if I don't mind him dying?" to "your brilliant boy!!" To Wick and was on Tyranny's side at the meeting.
I think we're heading towards a table of schemes involving these three (especially now with Yanessa don't let Wick Alone), so I really want to see what can happen between them.
Now I want to talk about a theory I have.
I think there will be a moment where Tyranny's powers will fail because she would be putting more faith in Wick than her father, so the two would have to perform a contract ritual to make Wick her new Patron, basically changing her pact to Celestial.
And I still think that if that happens soon after, something will happen to separate the tables of those two, so Wick would be Tyranny's Patron, but they wouldn't be in the same place.
I hate the idea of them being separated, but my heart, which loves Torment, would adore the idea of them being connected but further apart.
