Huh, frank-n-furter isnt transmysogonistic, he's in icon imo. Of course the movie isnt perfect by todays standards but they broke down taboos in the way they could, this was the 70s and just after the hays code. This is one of the queerest movies ever made! Yes, he defies clear labels which might seem kinda weird today but i think he's even greater for it. Just speaking for myself here, but as a queer person i adore this character.

hey! i just saw your new hannibal art on my dash, but i am also seeing people point out some issues of transmisogyny with it on a couple of blogs that have reblogged it because the main character is apparently a transmisogynistic caricature. i do not know much about the movie, but i like your art and thought that you should know before someone just jumps down your throat about it
