This theory started because @danieyells introduced me to the idea of a connection between Ritsu and Leo. That got me thinking, and I wanted to dive a bit deeper into it.
In Chapter 29, Ritsu recalls a tragic case from his father's files: a man with a son close to his age was brutally killed by the Yakuza.
If we look at the other first-years, we can easily rule them out:
❌ Ren (if i am not wrong he talks about his father in the present tense so i think he is alive), Lyca, Sho
✅ Leo: He fits the profile the most
We know Leo was starving back then. Sho mentions that Leo practically lived off yakisoba buns and milk, and was "skin and bones." This extreme level of povert makes complete sense if his family was targeted by the Yakuza.
Maybe,if that man was his father, He owed massive, unpayable debts to them.
If you choose Leo at the start of the game, his dialogue reveals that he isn't just fighting general injustice, but it looks like if he is almost actively hunting the specific target who ruined his life.
He tells the MC:
"Life sucks then you die, right? I just want to make the assholes responsible regret it."
Also if we look at his full awaking voicelines:
"Their crying faces... I'll show them to honor roll too."
"Because there's no such thing as divine punishment in this world."
Leo knows that the law and "divine justice" failed his father. The Yakuza got away with murder, which is why he took matters into his own hands, made a pact with a demon, and dedicated his life to making "the assholes responsible" pay.
Also the way he gets mad while talking with Alan in episode 19:
LEO: 守りたい? 舐めんじゃねぇっつってんの→ "Want to protect us? Don't make me laugh." 失うくらいなら、自分が犠牲になった方がマシだと思ってる んでしょ? → "You think it's better for you to be the one to sacrifice yourself, rather than lose someone else, right?"(it looks like he understands Alan someway)
LEO:親父が死んだ? ダンテを殺した? → "Your father died? You killed Dante?"
だからこれ以上、誰も失いたくないって? → "ls that why you don't want to lose anyone else?" (Is he talking just about Alan or about himself too?)
言っとくけど、それただの傲慢だから → "I'm telling you, that's just pure arrogance."
修羅場潜ってきてんのが、自分だけだと思っ てんなら大間抜けなんだよ → "If you think you're the only one who has been through 'Shuraba' (hell/battlefield), you're dead wrong."
Why I'm using the original Japanese text: English translations often simplify complex cultural terms. Leo says 'Shuraba'. It's not just 'hell', i did some research and it's a Buddhist term for the 'Asura battlefield,' a state of endless, violent conflict. Choosing the original term captures the weight of his trauma, which is way deeper than a simple 'hard time'.
We know Leo made a contract with the demon Shax to survive. But let's look at his Stigma: Enchanted Hearing.
Stigmas are deeply tied to ghouls' deepest desires, regrets, and core trauma at the moment of making their pact.
Leo's subconscious mind maybe wished for being able to hear danger coming before it could ever touch him...
For now it is just a theory, but the dots are connecting quite well i think...

You squeak a tiny noise, fur puffing up instantly.
He shakes his head.
“You react just like her too.”
He picks you up, bringing your face close to his.
“...Do I really look that scary?”

Tohma’s on the phone.
“Yes. And I’ll take those documents–”
He notices you.
“I’ll call you back later.”
He steps toward you.
“Looks like we have an intruder. I can't have you spilling secrets so I'll have to exterminate you immediately.”
You freeze.
He laughs.
“Pfft. I'm just kidding.”
He crouches down, scratching your ear.
“That reaction…you remind me of a particular someone.”

You pop out of the bushes. Kaito shrieks.
“Y-you scared me.”
But when he realizes it's just a cat AND it happens to look exactly like you, he steps closer.
Cautiously, he scoops you into his arms.
“Wow…you smell like her too.” He pauses. “Wait. That's so creepy!”
Luca
You find Lucas training.
"Meow."
He gives you a gentle smile.
“It's dangerous here, you know.”
Lucas pats his forehead with a towel before crouching down.
He gently checks around your neck for a collar.
“Someone must be worried about you.”
He picks you up.
“Let’s go find your owner.”

Alan
“Meow.”
He looks down. From this angle, he looks like a giant.
Alan glances around, as if to make sure no one’s watching, then drops to his knees.
He searches through his pockets, then takes something out.
A cat treat. Does he always keep those in his pocket?
He watches you sniff it unappetizingly and frowns.
“Wait a second. I'll get something else.”
He comes back with a strip of chicken.
…Not much better.
Leo
“Meow.”
“Huh? You've got a problem, cat–”
He stares for a while before a smirk spreads across his face.
He opens his camera and snaps a picture. And another. And another. “I've gotta post this. You look just like her. Right down to that dumb expression~”
When you try to leave...
"Hey. Where are you going? I need more photos."
Sho
Sho looks out the food truck and spots you.
He ducks down, grabs something, then comes out.
“Here. It’s mashed pumpkin. You can eat this, can't you?”
You refuse it.
“C'mon, you can't be picky with your veggies too.”
Eventually, you take one bite…then another.
Damn. It’s good.
He chuckles as he pets your head.
“Good kitty.”
Jabberwock
Haru
You’re roaming around Jabberwock when–
“Watch out!”
You look behind to see a big boar charging right at you.
Just before it can run you over, Haru scoops you up.
He takes you somewhere safe before scolding you.
“I don’t know where you came from, but you gotta be more careful.”
But he gets distracted, staring at you face.
He pets you with a wide smile.
“You sure got a cute face, don’t ya.”
Towa
You don’t even know where he came from.
“Kitty Dandelion~”
He scoops you up and hugs you tight against his chest.
“You’re so cute.”
You purr at the affection.
His voice drops.
“You’re so weak and pitiful…it makes me want to protect you.”
HUH?
Ren
You enter his room while he’s gaming. You sit on top of his keyboard.
“Huh? What is a cat doing here? Move.” He pushes you off his desk. “And get out.”
He tries to resume but you climb right back on like a menace.
“I said–”
He stops. His eyes narrow.
“...Senpai?” He shakes his head.
“What am I saying? There’s no way.”
But this time, he simply scoots you to the side instead of pushing you off the desk.
“Fine. You can stay here. Just don’t bother me.”
In between matches, he may or may not run his fingers through your fur.
Sinostra
Taiga
He crouches down, picks you up by the scruff of your neck, and brings your face close to his.
You can see his jagged teeth so well from here.
“You look a bit tasty. Are you an anomaly?”
You shake your head aggressively.
“Gyahaha! No way you really responded.”
He sets you down before giving you a rough pat(?) on your head.
“Don’t worry, eating kitty-cats aren't my thing.”
Romeo
“Huh? What is a cat doing in the casino?!”
Romeo storms down the stairs and stops in front of you.
“Which of you WTWUT let it in…”
His voice trails off as he gets a good look at your face.
“Sorry Romeo.” His underling immediately grabs you.
You yowl.
“Hey! Don’t be so rough with it!”
He shakes his head with a sigh.
“Bring it to my room. It might be useful later.”
Ritsu
“Meow.”
Ritsu looks up from his book.
“What is a cat like you doing in a library?” He asks, as if you could answer.
“I suppose there’s no specific rule prohibiting animals from entering. In fact, there are anomalies that work here as well. So don’t worry, I will not escort you out.”
He goes back to his book. But every so often, he steals glances of you.
Finally he asks:
“...May I pet you?”
(I feel like Ritsu was probably never allowed to have pets– like has never even pet one before. So he's curious what it feels like.)

𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐇𝐄𝐈 𝐇𝐀𝐈𝐙𝐎𝐍𝐎 (that is that is the title of my post)
Now that I've read the latest episode and heard Sho say something to MC, I can't stop thinking about it. I won't say exactly what he said, but if you're curious, you can check out my spoiler post.
I wonder if the fact that he knows how to do so many things, whether they're big, small, random or practical, like he's basically the king of multitasking, combined with his background and the way he talks about it, means he grew up in a strict environment with really high expectations. Especially when it comes to education and social etiquette. He did call his family "new money" after all, so it's easy to see why his parents would want to mold him into the perfect child to fit into that kind of society.
As for why he said [SPOILER], I feel like it has something to do with Hyde. The fact that Hyde went to Darkwick before and now works for the Institute says a lot. Either Hyde is incredibly smart, the golden child type, or he was the first child their parents placed all their expectations on. The successful kid they were proud of.
That probably put a lot of pressure on Sho because his parents wanted him to be just as successful as Hyde. At the same time, I can also see them neglecting Sho emotionally. Maybe they were emotionally unavailable parents.
As for how Hyde saw all of this, we really don't know. But I don't think their relationship is THAT bad. Sho has made a few comments about Hyde, yet he still goes along with whatever plan Hyde has. That tells me he either trusts Hyde to some extent or just can't bring himself to refuse his older brother. Either way, it makes me think the tension between them came from outside circumstances rather than the two of them simply not getting along.
I just think Sho still respects Hyde deep down. That's why he's willing to go along with Hyde's plans. Not just because they're brothers, but because he still has faith in him somehow. Of course, we don't know for sure.
As for Hyde, we barely know anything about this man. I can't say much, but I do think he cares about Sho deep down. Whatever his plan is, if it could save thousands of people, then... Iykyk sometimes people have to make difficult choices. Hyde gives me the impression that he wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice a few people if it meant protecting many more. Sometimes sticking to your principles just isn't an option.
And we learned Sho's eye color in this episode, which gives us a little more insight. Based on the Hyde sprite that Dannie datamined, it looks like Hyde and Sho have the same eye color. So there's a good chance that's Hyde's eye color too.

Iolite is a stunning naturally violet-blue gemstone that's best known for its mesmerizing color-shifting properties. It's the gem quality variety of the mineral cordierite and is loved for its rich indigo hues, affordability, and the fact that its color is naturally occurring rather than artificially enhanced.
Its most famous characteristic is its strong pleochroism. Depending on the angle you look at it, iolite can shift from deep violet-blue or grayish-blue to pale yellow or even completely colorless.
Fun fact: Ancient Viking sailors were believed to have used thin slices of iolite as a polarizing filter to locate the sun on cloudy days.
I spent way too much time trying to find the right gemstone that matched Hyde's eyes because I wanted to write something about him. For the longest time, the closest match I could find was tanzanite. But the more I looked into it, the less satisfied I was. Tanzanite tends to lean more toward violet-purple than the deep blue I imagine for Hyde's and Sho's eyes.
Unlike many popular blue gemstones, such as sapphire or tanzanite, iolite's color is naturally occurring and rarely requires heat treatment. I think that's part of why it feels like a better fit to me. Tanzanite has always looked just a little too "artificial" for how I picture their eye color, while iolite has a much more natural, muted blue that matches my image of Hyde and Sho much better.
Tbh, I think tanzanite actually suits Hyde more, while Sho is iolite because of the meaning and characteristics of each gem. However, when it comes to color, I feel like iolite has that rough edge, while tanzanite comes across as more polished ✨

A/n: Hi, so I want to post Jabberwock cause It became 7,000 words when I started writing him. You might notice a change of writing style because I wrote Haru months ago and Wrote Towa and Ren today. Anyways I wanted to align it to HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO THESE GUYS AND ALL FATHERS!
Haru Sagara:
The day that you got that positive test results; Haru was way too busy tending Jabberwock. Running around that you couldn’t catch up on him. Whenever you got him to stop some explosion just happens from a few feet away causing him to jolt and panic. “Honor Roll wait!” he’d say urgently before using his stigma to check the source.
With your emotions in a swivel, it made you upset but you had to put a brave face and try not to get too stressed out. Especially when you’re caring the child of your best boyfriend ever. A thoughtful man that made you want to actually get pregnant for that’s why instead of other girls who panicked when they found out. You were more than delighted to know this.
But then… it hit you, he’s already dealing with so much responsibility, adding another burden to Haru would probably make him tweak out at one point. This caused you to frown, while sitting down in your shared space with Haru just below Ren’s room. You kept the place tidy, especially when there were nights where Haru would sleep on the couch, having you to grab your pillows and blankets and sleep on top of him. Remembering the moments where you felt him wrap around your waist, giving you a gentle chaste kiss on the forehead, drowsily asking if he woken you up by not sleeping inside.
Trying his darndest to explain himself the reason why he was even sleeping outside. Talking about how he was too tired to change clothes and whatnot. This made you nuzzle him further, giving him a kiss on the lips instead. Mumbling about how you’re a-okay with stripping him and changing his clothes. brushing away the hair sticking on his forehead. You never once cared if he drenched in sweat, despite his many protests of not trying to dirty you.
For you, he was the best thing you ever smelled, you didn’t know why, but even when he just got off his usual work, you end up flopping on him and smelling his scent.
You didn’t realize that you’ve been hugging his vest; he had left it there, deciding that it was better to not use it especially since he was planning to feed the anomalous bulls known for throwing mud at his uniform.
You were happy with that, inhaling the scent he left while being surrounded by the pillows that also smells like him. In your pregnant mind, the cravings felt more or less just having to cuddle him and have him comfort you. Even tho it’s been days since you found out about your pregnancy. You ended up overpreparing way too much in wanting to spill the news, leaving a singular pregnancy test in a small black box, that said “for Haru”
Your eyes started to turn bleary, and tears were accumulating. Even if he was there, he felt distant.
You managed to fall asleep after, letting yourself drift into a deep slumber comforted by the scent of your boyfriend.
Haru was tired. He’s been rushing around after Towa got mad at him and vanished out of nowhere causing him great distress. Only you plus Ren who’s also now mad at him was left. He was glad Ren stayed, and he felt guilty for making him get dragged into the mess he was in already.
He felt the same with you. It was a bad choice to keep you in Jabberwock instead of Clementia, where you wouldn’t be awoken by a series of loud animal noises.
He sighs, stretching his worn out muscles before opening the door into the house, and into your bedroom with him. Out of all the rooms in this small house. You kept his room neat, tidy, and with touches of your designs keeping him accompanied when your schedules don’t line up. The little nightlamp illuminating a unknown box with his name on it. Conveniently placed on the bedside table just right besides your sleeping figure.
“Huh?” he whispered to himself, sliding his fingertips on the table before grabbing the box, looking at it from side to side and glancing at you hugging his vest, with obvious dried tears. This made his eyebrows furrow. He can’t wake you up , ask you what’s wrong so he just hoped that it wasn’t anything bad, especially now that he thinks about it…
You’ve been trying to tell him something for the past few days but he’s been so tired that his body kept shutting down before you could even say anything.
A rush of guilt trickled into his whole body, he’s been neglecting you so much. He placed the box down, the bed dipping from his weight as he sits on the side of it, touching your cheek with the back of his hand and wiping the accumulating tear on your eye. “I’m sorry” he muttered, leaning down to kiss your forehead.
The kiss caused you to stir up making him freeze for a second before he kisses your cheek as well. “Hello” he smiled, as you blink your eyes trying to focus. “Haru” you beamed despite still being groggy, before scooching over and wrapping your arms around his waist. “I missed you” you said, voice muffled from burying your face into his stomach.
He runs his fingers through your hair, putting his other hand giving your shoulder a gentle squeeze. “I missed you too,” he cooed, “I’m really sorry for not being able to talk to you properly Honor Roll” he added, guilt evident in his voice but you just locked your arms around him. “It’s okay” you lifted your head up, looking at him with gleaming eyes. “I just wanted to tell you something important” you pulled away, sitting up besides him, he tilts his head as he crossed his arms. “What’s it about?”
”Have you opened the box yet?” you pointed at the side, the moment he turned away, you realized that he was about to find out that you were pregnant, causing your body to start pumping blood much faster as nervousness overtakes you.
“That?” he questioned more, about to grab the box before your hand unconsciously jumped out and grabbed his wrist. “How about we open it together?” you said, voice high pitched and shaky. “I think it’ll be a better surprise that way right?”
He looked at you worriedly at first before his signature smile comes back “Sure baby” he chirped, grabbing your waist and pulling you to his side, so close that you ended up placing your hands on his chest, oh. this was nice…
You ended up melting into his embrace when he grabbed the box. “Oh, I’m excited what you got for me” he said, as you ended up wrapping your arms around him once again. You know lately he noticed you’ve been clinging alot to plenty of his stuff. Last time it was peakaboo you were cuddling and they were oddly protective of you. That usually only happens when he was sick or when they were around… pregnant animals…
That’s odd… He glanced at you, eyes roaming your body to check for signs of anything, any weaknesses. Are you sick? You look pretty fine for him. Your clinginess was rather odd, but there’s nothing bad to it especially when he’s been absent for days now.
“I can open this now right?” he asked for confirmation, while he’s petting you. suddenly he felt you grip on his shirt, and a wetness drenching his shirt, causing him to panic. “Hey hey hey” he soothes you, pulling you away so you can sit up and face him.
”What’s wrong?” he said in a panic, watching as your relaxed expression turned into a flurry of tears and sobs that he helped you wiped when you tried to wipe it yourself. “I’m sorry, I’m- I’m adding so many burdens to you Haru” you squeaked out, voice cracking that made him look more and more worried.
He gripped on both your wrists gently, trying to get ahold of the information you’re withholding from him, anything, just tell him. “What is it?” he asked, as he lets go of one of your hand when it turned limp. He used that opportunity to grab a napkin and wipe your tears away more cause it was neverending.
You were never this emotional… “The-” you choked on your own tears, trying to stop Haru from wiping, and he took it as a sign to. “The box- open it” you muttered, as he lets you slump your head on his shoulder while he grabs the box he placed down on the bed cause of your sudden burst of tears.
“Is whatever making you cry in this box?” he asked, voice gentle as he goes to open the box. The insides of the box made his eyes pry open out of shock. “You’re…” his breath hitches as he looks at you.
“Pregnant?” he continued, looking at the positive pregnancy test, he never really saw one so he had to grab it, read the little labels on the side. You nodded , scared at whatever his reaction may be, you expected some kind of negative reaction for some reason and that fuels your fear.
Yet, you didn’t see that negative reaction… Instead, you saw tears falling down his opened eyes, causing you to worry about him this time. “Haru-?” you felt him pull you into a crushing hug making you squeak, and hug him back. “I’m gonna be a dad?” he swayed you so fast and suddenly you’re lifted up from the bed.
“Whoa?!” you gripped on his shoulders, his arms wrapped around secured enough that you wouldn’t fall. “Babe!” he said, his eyes remaining open that it made your heart flutter.
You’re so used to him keeping his eyes closed that seeing such a state made you blush a bit. “Yes??” you asked, gripping on his shoulders, trying to will yourself not to fall for your handsome boyfriend. “I’m- I’m gonna be a dad!??!” he jumped so much that it made you laugh, why is he so excited?
”Yes!” you replied back with the same energy, both of you getting thrown into a giggling fit. His cheeks flushed from how much he’s smiling you’re worried it’ll hurt after he’s done. “Aren’t you already a dad?” you teased him when he slowly places you down, almost forgetting that he has to be gentle with pregnant ladies. “It just makes me so happy that Peakaboo’s gonna get a sibling!”
He’s such a dad figure already. You sigh before holding both of his hands, your past anxieties gone with the way he reacted. When you looked back up, his eyes were already back to being closed, which was a bit of a bummer. He cups your cheeks, squishing it a bit as he peppers you with kisses. “Haru!” you giggle as you let him shower you with affection you haven’t received n awhile.
“What can I do to make it up to you?” he asked, still kissing you as you wrap your arms around him. Shit…

You've been getting easily exhausted these days. Carrying heavy boxes that Hyde asked if you can help got you almost tumbling down your feet. That was just ONE box, (okay maybe cause it's filled with books but still!) you can carry such before what's the different now?!
Lucas saw you struggling and managed to help you carry it with Kaito whining on tow. Talking about how he should be the one carrying but when Lucas offered him one of the boxes that Hyde was transporting. He struggled to carry 5 boxes at the same time.
So was it actually your strenght or were those things really heavy?
Your brows furrow in concentration, twisting and turning on your bed did not help you sleep. Plus; you skipped your period… That wasn't unusual you guess, if it's just a few days. You were starting to fall asleep hugging one of the Towa plushie Haru had handmade for you when suddenly the door opened causing you to jolt awake.
"Dandelion!" Towa's voice rang through the whole Clementia building like a loud siren, causing you to sit up and walk out of your room. "Towa?" you asked, confused. He was panting and sweating from running making you immediately grab a clean towel and start wiping his face. "What are you doing here? did you run??" Towa grinned, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you close.
At this point you're used to wiping his sweat for him that you just let him press you on his body. Your heart fluttering at the gesture but deciding that it wasn't the time to fawn over your boyfriend.
"Dandelion are you?" he asked, looking down on your tummy, it wasn't big yet but he knows.
His baby is there.
He rubs on your abdomen so sensually it made you shudder and grab his wrists. "Am i what?" you asked, the moon perfectly illuminating the gleam of his eyes. Like he's excited for something?
"Dandelion! you're pregnant!" he squeals, lifting you up from the ground and causing your brain to short circuit and grip on his shoulders. "What?? huh???"
He didn't even stop your confusion, his giggles being too soft and innocent for you to even get mad about what joke he's making right now. So you end up smiling unconsciously.
Oh, his happiness is so contagious.

"Dandelion wants to confirm it?" he asked, blinking at you like a frog. "Obviously", pulling away, you tried to let him go, but he clung to your hand instead as you both go inside. "I'm just getting my purse you know" you said, patting his head. "Well , I want to come with you!" he chirps, standing up straight and hovering over you; waiting like a child when you went to get your money.
The night breeze did wonders on your weary mind, and Towa's humming relaxed you too. "How exactly am i pregnant?" you asked, swaying both yours and towa's hand that were intertwined together. Towa continued gazing at the stars on your way to the market. "You smelled like flowers" he finally breaks his gaze to the sky and landed it to you. Pulling you closer to him, bumping hips on each other.
"I smell like chamomile flowers? -" you parroted back, getting more and more confused. "What if I was using perfume?" Towa tilts his head, as if you just asked him the most stupid question. "Dandelion, when we were together you just got off from class!" he said.
"You usually wear another type of perfume and the scent was the same as the tree we go to accompany!"

"You're bearing fruits!" Towa rubs his thumbs on the top of your hand. "Remember the time we did it on the hill-"
You immediately slapped your hand to his mouth, cheeks turning beet red. "We're here! shush!" you scolded him, pushing the door inside to see Benkei half asleep and jolting at the sound of the door bell ringing. "Good evening!" he shouted, probably his usual greetings to night owls.
"Hi Benkei" you smiled sheepishly, going close to him as if you're going to let out a secret. Only for Towa to go closer. "Can Dandelion have a pregnancy test kit?" he asked so loudly that you thanked the Gods the only people in the store were you, Towa and Benkei.
Benkei stared at both of you with a smile. Only a hum in confusion came out of him. "You want a pregnancy test kit?" he asked, kids these days have more action than adults. "Sure, that'll be.."
You're glad that he didn't ask too many questions, grabbing the kit and shoving it in your bag. You pout at Towa, who is trying to walk beside you, but you turn your head away every time he does.
"Dandelion!" he whines, grabbing you by the waist and lifting you up like you weigh nothing causing you to squeak. "Towa!" you squirm, trying to push him off. "I'm sorry!" he tears up, putting your tummy close to him, his arms supporting your lower portion so you don't fall. "Don't ignore me" he sniffles. Sighing, you're weak to him. Weak to the tears he gives you when he begs you for forgiveness like this.
"Don't do that again you oaf" you pinch his cheeks, causing him to whine. "But it's true you needed a pregnancy ki-"

Safe to say Towa was silent the whole time; you endevour back home.
You've reached your home, with Towa pushing the heavy door for you. "I can do that!" you pout, but Towa just smiled, "I want to help!" was the only reason he gave.
He sat on his side of the bed, he made a home in Clementia honestly, spending more time there than in Jabberwock. You felt bad and offered to stay with him in his house lest, he doesn't miss Haru too much , but he shook his head, holding both your hands together and giving it a gentle kiss. Stating that he already found the love of his life. While he does love Haru. His love for you was different.
And Towa had to man up and be the person you can rely on.
"Hey" you took the pregnancy test, about to go to the bathroom, but you were worried about something. "You're not forcing yourself to man up for me right?" if that was the case you'd feel guilty. He can stay the way he is, after all that's what you love about him.
"I'm not forcing myself!" he chirps, putting out his pinky. "Pinky promise!- plus, Dandelion" he stares at you.
"Growing doesn't mean i stop being myself" his eyes softened, so full of love, that you can't even reject that idea that he was completely and utterly inlove with you. "Growing up means I get to be a great husband to you and a good dad to our future flower" he adds, making your heart flutter.
… Wait- it's not even confirmed yet why are you agreeing on this whole pregnancy thing!?"I'll go check!" you said, scrambling your way to the toilet, leaving Towa flopping on the bed.
From inside, you can hear Towa humming from your bedside. Honestly, his humming made you accept quickly the positive sign the pregnancy test was giving.
If anything… your heart fluttered at the sight. You'll be having a baby together. Was it viable? Who's going to be the breadwinner? You? Can Towa make money?
You shook your thoughts, thinking it was too pessimistic to look too far into the future. As long as you're both together. You can figure it out. "Towa?" you called out, hearing the irregular knocks and Towa's voice. "Yes dandelion?" he asked. The door creaked open, Towa tilting his head to see you faster cause you were opening the door so slowly.
"It's positive" you exclaimed, showing him the test. Of course he wasn't suprised. His gaze not even taking a few seconds before he pulls you for a hug. No words exchanged, his hold already speaks louder than a thousand words.
"Do you think we'll be okay?" your thoughts were silent under his hold, with him suddenly lifting you up bridal style and giving your forehead a kiss. "We will be" he muttered, placing you down the bed. "I'll protect you" he added, touching your cheek and caressing your skin with his thumb.
Your eyes started to feel heavy, his presence and cuddles doing wonders to your mind and body. "Goodnight Towa" you managed to pull out of yourself, as he pulls you to him, using his arm as a pillow for your head. "Goodnight Dandelion" he whispers, his lips close to your forehead as he looks down, rubbing on your abdomen. "Goodnight to you our Daffodil"

Ren wasn't really fond of kids. He never got along with them. They're whiny, stinky and too immature, obviously on that part.

You were chilling in his bedroom, waiting for him to finish up using the toilet. Suddenly you heard a the door slam open. Ren's face pale and looked like he just ran a marathon inside?
"You" his eyes focuses on you, closing the door with another loud slam causing you to huff at him. "Can you spare your door from your outburst-?" you felt the bed dip and his hand immediately going near your face, in such a haste whatever he was holding blurred for a second before focusing on it.
Your heart drops when you realized what he was holding was the discarded positive pregnancy test that you wanted to throw away yesterday night when he fell asleep. "Ren"
"What is this?!" he demanded, putting the test down. "You're pregnant?!" he exclaimed, glaring at you, but you tried to keep calm. Anxiety rising from how angry he was. After all.
He's still a ghoul. "Hold on" you lifted your hand to stop him from getting close to you. "Let me explain Ren"
"Explain what??" he laughs, "You're pregnant!, that's not supposed to happen." He pinched the bridge of his nose, walking backwards from you. "I can't handle a baby"
"We can work something out!" you stood up going close to him. "Ren come on-"
"I'm first year!" his hands were shaking, he's already working his ass off to atleast get money for himself, heck for your dates! how did this happen?! "Ren!" you yell his name, grabbing both of his wrists when he finally froze. "You need to listen to me!"
He bit his lip, almost making it bleed, he couldn't bear to look at you right now. His heart aching and screaming at him to leave before he does something he regrets. "Let me go" he muttered, pushing your grip away.
"Ren…" you frown, letting him go when he forced it off. "Please look at me" you wanted to touch his cheek, get him to ground himself but it was clear as day that he was getting overwhelmed with the news. The blood dripping down the floor while his knuckles were turning white from how hard he grips on himself.
"Abort it"
"What?" you didn't hear him the first time, causing him to bite harder, open the wound further, he finally manages to lift his head up to look at you. "Abort the baby" he grips on your shoulders, making your eyes widen. "I can't do that!" you protest, "You need to abort it" his voice shaky.
Don't you see? he's trying to save you, and your relationship with him. His grip making you wince. "Get a grip on yourself!" you yell, pushing him back and causing him to stumble on his own feet. "I'm not killing our baby!" Shit, why is he acting like this? you can't fight him, why is he so against the child? Your heart breaking making your throat constrict ., as if there's a rock stuck in your throat. "That's our baby-" you choked out, trying to battle with yourself, curse your soft heart, you don't want to cry!
Ren stayed motionless, his gaze down on the floor. "Then let's break up" he muttered. "I don't want to do ANYTHING, with the baby" he hissed, walking out with the pieces of your heart.
Watching as he lets it drip. "Ren-"
The door clicked shut. Leaving you with your thoughts, colliding with one another, making your body stay frozen, as if you're standing at the edge of the cliff, without any safety net below.
"Kyuu?" The door opened slightly, snapping you out of your overwhelming thoughts. "Calamari?" you called out to the little guy. They crawled close to you, rubbing their slimy body on your foot. Wiping your tears away, you lifted the baby octopus up.
"Surely he was just upset right?" Calamari tilts their head, not understanding a word you're saying but nodding anyways. You pull them close to your chest, squeezing them and being the only comfort you got.
"Yeah… let's give him a few days" you muttered, standing up and going out of jabberwock. (Leaving Calamari to the couch instead).
Ren fucked up.
The moment he closed the door on you. He couldn't even look back. He went down, ignoring Calamari kyuu kyuuing on him, so damn annoying. "Not in the mood Calamari" he shoos them away.
He went out of jabberwock, he needs time. Heck even his phone is annoying him with the amount of notifications coming from you along side with Haru. Rolling his eyes he force shut it down. Walking aimlessly out of Jabberwock. Not realizing that Haru was calling him.
Haru looks confused, scratching the back of his head. "He's not usually this upset" he thought, seeing you go out as well. "Honor roll!" he jogs towards you. Stopping midway seeing your expression. "You okay?" he asked. Snapping you out of the similar state you are with Ren. "Oh-" you blink, looking up to him. "Hey Haru" He's been there since you started dating Ren, heck he was actually the wingman. You being the initiator and Ren being a non-initiator.
"Did something happen between the two of you?" he asked, placing a hand on your shoulder. Staring at his kind expression made you start bawling. He starts panicking babbling about hey its okays, don't crys, pulling you into a tight hug, rubbing your back. "How about we go to that fancy schmancy food truck Sho has?"
You laugh a bit, wiping your tears. "Promise you won't judge me?" you asked, as he holds your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Promise"
Haru ordered for the both of you, not accepting your money; saying that it was his treat, especially when one of his son's just broke a girl's heart. "So - why not lay it out on me?" he said, placing his cheek on his hand while drinking the new hibiscus Sho created. While you get your own order. "Thanks for the food" you murmured, eating what you can. But realizing that you felt a bit nauseous.
"Hey hey-" Haru grabbed his plastic bag, giving it to you as you puked on the side. "Are you sick?" he asked worried, grabbing your hair and putting it in a makeshift bun. "No- I'm pregnant" you cough, wiping the saliva off your mouth.
Haru stared at you, blinking once and then twice. "What?"
It crashed down on him, his eyes widening you're lucky to see it crack open at least. "You're what?!"
"Hush!" you tear up, causing him to scramble up cleaning after you, tying the plastic bag and throwing it out. "You're??? but how??"
You glared at him, realizing how stupid asking was and sheepishly sat down. "Sorry, I know how - but why did you and Ren…?" he asked, hoping to shed some light on the situation. Finally explaining the situation, you watched the ice slide to the side of your cup. You can't bare looking at Haru, you didn't want him looking at you, judging you.
"That's tough" was the first that came out of his mouth, tapping his gloved finger on his chin. "Haru, I don't know what to do" Tears started to accumulate in your eyes once more, trying to desperately wipe them, you didn't want Sho noticing, but it just kept going on and on.
Ren wanted to leave you, he wanted nothing to do with the baby. He broke up with you he-
"Both of you were overwhelmed" Haru goes to your side, giving you a hankerchief and a headpat. "You're not at fault Honor roll" he reassures. "But… I can't interfere with this" he frowns. " I can probably drag Ren back , but having to constantly be the mediator for the both of you" he adds.
"I'll try finding him and talk to him" you felt small, grabbing your phone in your pocket. You saw how your texts weren't sending he… he blocked you. You nodded meekly, not trusting your voice. If you heard how pathetic you sound; you'd wallow in your self-pity.
After meal, Haru asked if you can get back to Clementia safely, since he's gonna go track Ren down. Knowing the guy, he's not favored by darkwick and it'll be hard to get a R&R Permit. His conclusion was Ren was still in the campus.
"I can go home by myself" you reassured Haru, with him sighing and smiling at you. Like he wanted to ask to make sure, however he knows how drained you are right now. "Alright, chat me when you're home okay?" he said, giving your head a little ruffle.
"Don't stress too much, it'll be okay" he says as he jogs away, faintly hearing a "banthi!" as he rushes away.
You were about to turn away and walk back to the direction of Clementia till you heard a faint sound of the Truck's door closing. "Why don't I get you home senpai?" he asked, making you look back. "Sho"
"Sup" He gives you a gentle smile, his eyes softly gazing at you. It was so oddly fond… "I don't wanna bother you" you answered sheepishly. You didn't have the energy to act like you're fine. Ah who's fooling anyone? Sho's observant, he must've already noticed your sad state.
"You're no bother" he says, already putting his dirty towel on his side. Stuffing it within his pocket. "Come"
"You're not gonna take no for an answer are you?" He laughs, looking back at you with a mischievous smile. "Nope"
Ren ended up finishing the shift he took instead of his schedule. Luckily that time it was packed (for the first time he was happy it was packed) and offered his manager that he can work today instead of monday.
His boss happily oouging and letting him take the "stage"
"I'm tired" he sighs, cracking his neck. Even when he was busy, going from one place to another trying to serve costumers, he couldn't forget about what happened.

That's the real father isn't it? you- you lied- you kept insisting he's the dad but the way he's looking at you. "Whoa- are you okay?" Haru asked, forgetting about his exhaustion cause Ren just called him by his name and not "stupid clown"
"Did you hit your head?" The moment Ren looks at your direction once again, you were gone. Making him scowl. "What are you doing here?" he asked, glaring at Haru. The other man lets out a sigh of relief, patting his head annoyingly.
"We need to talk" He asks, expression serious. But Ren just rolls his eyes, turning his head away. "I don't want to" But he then felt Haru grab him by the waist and lift him up causing Ren to screech. "Let me go you dumb clown!"
"Nope!" the other said too eagerly. No matter how much Ren pushes kicks or pulls, Haru wasn't budging, getting curious stares at both of them. This made Ren's cheeks burn. "Fine fine! I'll listen to you just put me down!" he surrenders, making Haru hum happily and put him down. "That's good Ren!"
"What do you want to talk about anyways? you know how tired I am you clown?" he scoffs, sitting down at the bench, putting one foot on his lap sideways. "Well" Haru sighs, sitting down besides him. "It's about Honor roll-"
"If you're gonna force me to take responsiblity over a child I DON'T want i'm leaving" he crosses his arms, looking away. He didn't want this conversation. He knows he needs to man up but not right now. "I told her to abort it already…"

"That one argument is 18 years of burden!" he glares at him. "I'm just a first year, that baby is a mistake-"
"So, you're saying dating her was a mistake?" Haru asked, causing Ren to clamp his mouth shut. "You did things knowing the risks it has. You're not 10, Ren" he continues. "It's amazing even, that Honor roll wanted to have the kid with you" he smiles gently. "I understand not wanting to have one at your age, you're just first year"
"But think about what the future entails," he looks at Ren, who surprisingly was looking at him back. "You're not alone here, You still have me (till internship that is) and you two ever need a helping hand I am here"
Ren flinched, This clown doesn't understand it at all. He looks down, realizing that his hands were shaking. "Talk to me Ren" Haru asked, hoping that despite their differences and Ren's hatred of him. He needs to know what's going on in the boy's brain.
"What if it's not mine" he whispers, making Haru confused. You weren't the type of woman to sleep with anyone else while you're dating someone; or is he mistaken?
"Are you saying--" he puts his hand back to his chin, thinking deeply. "What made you think of that?" he asked, the wind further blowing to their side. "What if- It's that burnt out's kid, did you not see them?"
Burnt out..? who? Haru was confused, but he can't piss off Ren or else this man might run away and he has to subdue him again.
"Why?" he asked, and Haru hit the jackpot, cause that's where Ren started spilling his feelings out. "He's always acting so picture perfect, always going out and about , not attending classes and yet he still gets perfect scores, I've known him before and girls always like him and my old man constantly compares me to that man who's perfect in everything, always being told that I'm handsome but I have a rotten personality and only half decent grades what do they know? now that I have someone I love you're telling me that she might be bearing the kid of the fucking man who i considered nothing but perfect? Why does he have to study in this school? why is he a ghoul? i thought i managed to get away from him but no he's there; he's going to constantly be there like a fucking parasite on my back and I can't do anything because low and behold I see him walking with my girlfriend, laughing while I see mostly couples here; if Honor roll was your girlfriend how would you feel if you saw her just being so lovely dovey and close with a person you DON'T like and I know- I know that burnt out likes him, maybe that's why I like her back, maybe I'm the bad guy for using her cause I thought he would be hurt if I got the love of HIS life-"
"Isn't Honor roll, the one you love?" Haru asked, causing all the mindless ranting to halt. His eyes widening as if he's just realizing it.
"I-" He badly wanted to say no, he doesn't want to talk to you, to ask you "Is that really my kid?" what if you say no? laugh at his face tell him that he will never be better than that burnt out.
"Ren" Haru raises his hand as if he's about to pet Ren, only for haru to clench his fist and sucker punch Ren. Causing Ren to jolt and fall down to the grass. touching his face, it's bleeding. "What the fuck?!" he rasps, glaring at Haru, who smiled at him and scratch the back of his head.
"Sorry!" he said, putting one hand infront of his face as if he's apologizing. "It's just you're jumping to conclusion I had to punch you down yknow?"
"What do you mean?! this is harassment!" he complains, using his uniform to wipe the blood off his cheek. "Listen Ren" he sighs, getting a headache, it's not even his relationship! why is he peptalking like this kid is a kid?!
"Did she ever confirmed it wasn't your kid?" he asked, squatting down to Ren's level. "What?" he asked, looking confused, upset he doesn't know!
"Did she ever confirmed it" he asked again, this time it made Ren shudder, it's not always you see this clown frown and show his eyes…
"No…" he answered, looking away. Haru felt a twinge in his heart, for the first time Ren did look like a child, Making his feelings turn conflicted. He stood up, sighing again, he'll turn 20 years older cause of this! He offers his hand, "Talk with Honor roll, stop making assumptions and don't jump into ending your relationship" was the last advice Haru said. Ren huffed, taking the hand and standing up, although a little wobbly from the punch. "Fine"
It was already dark the moment you got to Clementia, when you were about to go inside. Sho pushed a plastic bag in your arms. "I know you tend to stay up late, so here's a late night snack for you" he added, making you smile at him. "Thank you Sho"
"You're welcome" he gives you another pat on the head. "Stay safe out there, there's been a lot of mosquitoes" you nodded, waving goodbye before going inside of Clementia. Being back here was… hard. You usually spend your time in Jabberwock, treating it like a found family and buying take out there. The laughs and movie nights with Ren,Towa and Haru was fun.
Now - you don't know if you'll ever experience that again. Even if you go there to hangout with Towa and Haru, It'll be awkward for Ren and you don't want that. Before you could close the door, you felt something grab the door from outside and forcibly pull it. Causing you to stumble.
'Wha-?!" you squeaked, closing your eyes and preparing for impact only to be caught by a pair of arms. "Senpai" he called out, your eyes cracking open wide and pushing away. "Ren?" you called out, looking up to see your boyfriend. "Ren!" you started bawling your eyes off hugging him tightly. "Oi-" he sighs, giving you a pat, realizing that it was true it is his fault. "How are you feeling?" he asked, he couldn't help but scratch the back of his neck out of habit. "How about we go inside?" he asked, pushing you a bit, but you didn't budge. "Senpai- we need to move"
"Carry me" you sob, voice muffled by his shirt. "Seriously?" he sighs again, but he swiftly carries you bridal style, going inside and kicking the heavy door shut like it's nothing.
Your arms continue clinging to him this time wrapped around his shoulders. "I'm sorry" he muttered, placing you down the bed, knowing you won't let him go, he goes to his side of the bed, arms hesitantly wrapping around your waist. "I'm sorry" you sobbed out, he pulls you a bit away. "I-" he looks away, he felt guilty, incredibly guilty.
"I'm sorry for suggesting that we abort it" he said, making you blink your tears away just to see him better. "You don't want to abort it anymore-?" you asked, voice shakey from all the crying as Ren shook his head. You noticed immediately the red bruise on his face, instinctively touching it. Ren flinched making you pull your hand away. "I'm sorry ! " you apologized profusely, with Ren touching his cheek.
"It's fine, I deserved this anyway" he touches one of the tears accumulating into your eyes. "I'm sorry for everything - for..scaring you"
"Who punched you?" you asked, it looks pretty bad, not sure if Ren just randomly decided to clean it with a towel and call it a day. "That stupid clown" he huffs, nuzzling his face onto your shoulder.
"Deserved" you joked, making him glare at you. "I'm kidding" you laugh, giving him a kiss, making him stiffen up and melt into it. "Senpai" he calls out, capturing your hand when you instinctively touch his sore spot again. "That's my baby right-?" he asked, a worried expression that didn't suit him at all.
"Yeah" you kiss his forehead, cupping both cheeks, making sure to be gentle with the sore one as you start peppering him with kisses. "I love you always" you added, when you pull away, his face was all flushed. "I wouldn't cheat on the most cutest guy in the world"
