One of the funniest villain tropes is when there's a character Of Special Skills, which even the villains are reluctant to do business with - not for any moral reasons, but because they're creepy. The kind of heebie jeebies you feel in your bone marrow. Like it's a huge dramatic thing when the villains decide that they have no choice but to resort to going to That Guy for help, and a poor long-suffering henchman is like "ugh, do we reeeeally have to? That guy is... icky. He eats corpses."

Fun fact: if you, as an adult, tell miserable children that their youth is the best that life will ever be, and that it's all just downhill from there, there's a percentage of them who will hear this and think "well, I guess I better kill myself before that happens." And a certain percentage of those will proceed to do that and succeed.

boyfriend is leaving the hospital and just sent me an article about the condition they discovered he has and the article opens with this

Interesting! Fabellae are found in most Old World monkeys, but great apes don't have them. Unfortunately, it looks like quite a few humans have inherited them anyway. Old genes being reactivated spottily? Or a mechanical problem trying to be solved?
