the guilt of wanting to read and research and learn more but also struggling with executive dysfunction and burnout is so real. ever since i started uni three years ago and was bombarded with articles and books we were forced to read (which you can bet i barely read less than half), i’ve lost my interest in reading and learning </3

there will be thousands if not millions of versions of yourself: the ones you grow to become, the ones you grow out of, the ones you imagine yourself as, the ones others see, the ones others create in their minds. the version that matters most is the one you’re trying to be in your heart.

exhaustion is nothing to be ashamed of. having to take breaks is nothing to be ashamed of.

i’ve seen so much about this recently so here’s my take: the gods are not mad at you. it takes a LOT for them to get mad, and a mistake isn’t something they would sweat over (in my personally experience). it’s a different story if you’re being intentionally disrespectful, or attempting to knowingly go against what that god stands for, but for a mistake at most they’ll be a little annoyed. it will not ruin your relationship. it will not cause them to abandon you. you will be ok. the gods love isn’t so fickle that a simple mistake will hurt anything 💖🪽
