Honestly really enjoys domesticity with you, like it was one of the first things he adjusted to really well when you first got together. Just waking up together, going about your daily routines, doing totally boring everyday tasks…he genuinely loves it

Likes hearing you talk about completely mundane parts of your day because those ordinary details feel weirdly important to him. It's like every normal, boring thing is proof you're living a life outside of war, that's he's living that with you to whatever capacity he can, and he treasures that

Honestly he's kinda sentimental about routines. Like if the two of you develop some little habit like always saying goodbye the same way, always getting the same caf on certain mornings, always sharing a dessert when you go out, stuff like that, he gets really emotionally attached to it just because it's something special to you two

Every now and then he'll have moments where domestic life catches him off guard. You'll be doing something totally ordinary like folding laundry or watering plants or something and he'll just stop and stare for a second. If you ask him what he's thinking about, he just shakes his head, smiles a little, and says "Nothing. C'mere," before gathering you into a hug and kissing you

Always carries your bags for you whenever you go out for errands/shopping together and lets you hold onto his arm when his hands are full

Man is ON TOP of things around the house, like he's got a system for errands/chores and he sticks to it. He's definitely not like a clean freak or anything but he's organized and likes getting things done so he can relax with you

Not huge on extravagant dates but he likes taking you places with a nice view. A rooftop, balcony, anywhere the city lights are pretty. Does that thing where you're looking out at the view and he's just staring at you all dreamily

He's super difficult to embarrass…unless you compliment him when he's not expecting it. Just something small that he's unprepared for, like telling him he's handsome while he's shaving or something. Gets so flustered, clears his throat and is suddenly very preoccupied with what he's doing

Sleeps lighter when you're with him but more peacefully. Like he'll be asleep but whenever you move even a little he's waking up and adjusting a little to make sure you're comfortable. Always wants to be touching you, usually has his arm around you/lets you sleep with your head on his chest. Genuinely doesn't care if his arm goes numb

Loovvveesss when you wear clothes of his, like you'll be half-asleep in one of his shirts, totally not put together, and he'll be staring at you like you're the hottest, most perfect thing he's ever seen in his life lol. Cannot take his eyes off you and is even more affectionate and handsy than usual

Little bit of a menace whenever you're trying to leave. You'll already have your shoes on, keys in hand, and he'll walk over to "kiss you goodbye", except one kiss becomes three, then five, then he's smiling against your lips because now you're running late. Every single time he says, "One more," as if he hasn't already said that twice

Loves when you're both in the kitchen and you sit on the counter. He'll come stand between your legs and rest his hands on your thighs while the conversation drifts. At some point he'll completely forget whatever he was doing because he gets distracted kissing you

Honestly has zero awareness of how attractive he is when he's being domestic like sleeves rolled up, hands wet from doing dishes, gravelly morning voice asking you to hand him something…like ughhhhh
