Something so designed for grief about believing as a culture that the bodies of the dead have to remain intact or something bad happens to the soul. You can't cremate and you can't let them rot, so now there's too many. You stack them one on top of another without so much as a name attached and it's necessary but it's also wickedly degrading. Graves are robbed of valuables. The poor stay poor even in death. The very act of the body decaying becomes a far worse trauma. The living can never feel like it's over when it's over
