So I was going through the previous whump events and I saw this one called Agony April. It was from 2022 and the account had been deleted.

I thought "Well, I already have an event planned. Why not make another?"

So I present to you...

You can participate as little or as much as you want. You don't have to force yourself to do it. This event is all about having fun!

This event allows all kinds of whump! Go nuts with the prompts you are given! Just make sure you tag the posts accordingly or else I won't be able to reblog it.

You are not allowed to use AI in your writing or art or anything! If I catch you doing it, you will not be featured in the event.

You can use the prompts after the event and you can use it in tandem with other events. (Like Whumpril, April is the Cruelest Month, etc.)

There will be a list of participants and completionists that I will post after the event.

June of Doom Day 5 - "It's no use." | Lost at Sea | Grief | Coughing Blood

Lady Whump Diaries Day 5 - Caretaker

CWs: Blood, bleeding out, major character death, grief, alcohol use, lady whump

"It's no use. The wound's too deep."

She clutched her wine bottle, trying to block the memory out. She didn't need to be reminded of her failure. She knows she's a failure. She didn't want to fail her friend.

But the wound was too deep. She couldn't stop the bleeding. She tried her fucking hardest, but she couldn't stop her eyes from rolling back. She couldn't fight back against her comrades as the medics attempted to revive her.

Failure. That's what she'll always be.

She won't be able to see her smile, her laugh - Hold her in her arms.

She could drink her sorrows away, but it won't erase the pain.

Sometimes, on really bad nights, she would listen to old voicemails from her former friend. She just wanted to hear her voice again. It was the only way of keeping her sane.

"Hey..." Her friend whispered, clutching her hand. She coughed, blood dripping down her chin. "Promise me that you'll live your best life. Don't worry about me."

"No! I can't! I'm not leaving you!! You're going to be okay!"

Those were the last things she said to her. She stupidly thought she would make it like all the other times she made it. She was the toughest woman alive.

But even the strongest women had to stop fighting. Perhaps... It's what she would've wanted. She wanted to rest.

She spent all of this time taking care of her, being her anchor... She just wanted to help.

She has no purpose now.

Lady Whump Diaries Day 4 - Silk hiding steel

CWs: Mentioned poisoning, stabbing, blood, betrayal, unclear character status, lady whump

"Your highness?"

Princess Iris looked up. "Hm?"

"You've been looking off lately. Are you doing okay?"

She looked away, tightly clutching her fan. "Yeah. I'm just... Worried about what's gonna happen."

Her guard nodded. "Yeah, I know how you feel."

The looming threat of the assassination lingered in the air. It had only been a couple months since the attempted poisoning and the authorities still have no idea who tried to kill her. The princess had to be put on high surveillance after that. Iris shuddered at the thought of her drinking the chalice and dropping to the floor, blue in the face.

"Hey, your highness? It's gonna be okay. I won't let anything happen to you." She held her hand.

Iris didn't say anything. She just kept clutching her fan. Just a little closer...

Sell the act beautifully.

She can't trust anyone.

"Just... Promise me that you won't leave me."

The taller woman nodded once more. "Of course, your honor. It's my duty."

Iris had no clue when she hugged her guard. Perhaps it was after a few seconds or maybe it was after a few minutes of silence. All she knew was that she had her right where she wanted her. She knew the look on the guard's face when she was about to drink her poisoned cup.

That bitch was trying to hide a smirk, but she saw the tug of her lips at the dining table.

She needed to do this. She needed to get close to her so she could prevent her from trying to kill her again.

She slowly unsheathed the concealed knife from her fan and slowly raised the knife. Her heart was pounding in her ear.

Do it.

Do it now!

Before she could drive it into her back, the guard suddenly pushed her away. She grabbed her arm and twisted it, making her drop the knife. "You think you're clever?"

Before Iris could recover, the taller woman sank the knife into her gut. A deep crimson began to blossom on the front of her pristine white dress. Iris struggled, but her guard dug the knife deeper.

"You think I don't know who you are? What your family is like?" She twisted it, making Iris cry out. "Your ancestors killed thousands of people. They were innocent and yet, you all snuffed them out without a second thought."

Iris wanted to tell her it wasn't that. Her ancestor had her lover taken away from her. They had been betrayed by their own people time and time again. It was the only way to regain control.

She wasn't like them. She swore she wouldn't be violent, but history repeated itself. She wanted to scream and kick. Not be the damsel in distress, but her legs had already given out. The guard grabbed her by the hair and dragged her down the hallway. "I must put a stop to your bloodline. I must put an end to all of you."

As her eyes grew heavy, Iris wondered. Was this what Princess Veronique felt? When she was betrayed by people she was supposed to serve? Was this why France had a massacre?

She wondered if she would have any more time to think.

June of Doom Day 3 - "Give me another chance." | Trapped | Misunderstanding | Deception

Lady Whump Diaries Day 3 - Living Weapon

CWs: Failed assassination attempt, electrocution

"God, you're a failure." The general strapped the weapon's wrists down on the chair as she continued to struggle.

"Please! Please! I had her right where I want her! I did everything you told me to do!" Number 15 shouted.

"And yet she managed to get away. I think we need to correct you." The general flipped the switch and the chair turned on.

Number 15's body convulsed as the electricity flowed through her body. Her hands clenched the same way she clenched the knife. She tried to kill her. She honest to god tried.

They told her she was a regular businesswoman. She thought she would be an easy target. She didn't expect her to take Number 15 down in a fight. Was she the same fighter as her? Did they tell her she was coming?

Did they set her up for failure?

She had no time to think as she continued to convulse. Foam ran down her mouth as her heart stumbled, climbing up to a dangerous rhythm.

"You'll get them next time, won't you?"

June of Doom Day 2 - "You have to let me go."

CWs: Rescue attempt, bleeding, drowning, major character death (maybe?), CPR, self-sacrifice

"Ace..." Colin whispered.

"Don't talk. I-It's gonna be okay. We're gonna get you out." Ace tried to lift Colin up, but the sharp stab in his shoulder made him cry out in pain.

"Ace, please. You need to go." He looked at the pooling water. It was up to his waist now. "Y-You have to let me go."

"W-What?! No! I'm not-"

"Ace, I-I'm not gonna make it... Even if you carry me out of that room, I'll just bleed out before..."

"Don't talk like that! Please!" Ace couldn't hold himself together. They were so close to getting him out and now... They were gonna lose him again.

"Ace, please look out for yourself. Look out for the others. Please..."

"No! No no no! I'm staying! I'm staying with you!"

"Please go! Will you at least let me die with some dignity?!"

"Fuck your dignity! You're our friend!! We need you!!"

"Ace please!! You have to go!!"

"Colin, please!!" Before he could protest, Colin slung him over his shoulder and climbed up the ladder. The chain around his ankle would give him some wiggle room for one last attempt to save his friend.

"No no no let me go!! Let me help you!!"

He continued to scream as Colin opened the door and threw him out. Before Ace could scramble to his feet, Colin shut the door, locking it. Ace pounded on the door, screaming, calling him an idiot. Colin didn't mind. At least he won't die with him.

He was getting woozy from the amount of blood he lost. The water beneath him was turning red. Colin closed his eyes and braced himself for his end.

He wondered if Ace would actually move on or if he would keep him in his memory forever. He had friends who cared about him yet he was going to throw it all away. He's going to die anyway so what was the point of trying to save him?

Colin was now completely underwater, trying his best to hold his breath. He swore he had heard more voices from the other side before he went under. Why? Why are they even trying? Can't he die in peace?

"You're so stupid, Colin. Stop trying to push everyone away. We all need you."

His lungs were burning. He was now beginning to struggle. He now regretted having thrown Ace out. Please open the door. Please!

Eventually, all the air escaped him and his throat spasmed as water went down his windpipe. He was like a wild animal, trying desperately to get out of the trap he made for himself.

I don't want to die! I don't to want die! Please please Ace I'm sorry! I'm sorry!

His vision was slowly getting dark. His body was beginning to spasm. Why did he do this to himself? Why was he so stupid?

Why was he even bothering? He did all of this to himself.

He felt hands grabbing him. He felt the chain snapping. He felt himself being pulled up.

He felt someone pumping his chest before all sense of awareness faded.

Please notice them!

But they don't. They don't want to be ungrateful.

Lady Whump Diaries Day 2 - Used as Bait

CWs: Captivity, Used as bait, blood, implied time loop, death, torture, stabbing, waterboarding, electrocution, lady whump

Bianca knew the whole thing was a trap. Her captors have told her that. Yet she was useless to stop any of this as she was once again gagged.

She couldn't stop them as her friends mowed down every one that got in their way. She couldn't warn them as they tried to untie her. She could only watch as the group caught them and tortured them one by one.

How long can she endure this pain? How long can she watch everyone suffer and die until her mind breaks?

The blood splattered on the walls and the floor and the bodies of her friends who have fought tooth and nail to the very end would be burned into her mind. She wished she wasn't so helpless. If only she had tried harder...

Maybe next time. Next time, she'll be stronger.

Aria screamed as the knife was driven into her over and over, spilling blood all over, making a mess of her uniform.

She'll be stronger.

Hazel struggled in the ropes as they dumped water on her covered face.

She'll be stronger.

Mary convulsed as one of the people shocked her over and over with a cattle prod.

She'll be stronger.

She'll surely protect everyone this time.

June of Doom Day 1 - "Stay down." | Rules | Unfair Fight | Dehumanization

Lady Whump Diaries Day 1 - Sheltered Princess

CWs: Cult setting, whipping, lady whump, drowning, sexism, misogyny, child abuse, thoughts of murder, Stockholm syndrome

"You know what the rules are, right?" Grace's mother asked.

Grace nodded. "Never go out into the woods. Dress nicely. And always follow the word of God."

Three simple rules. And yet, Grace had sometimes wondered if what their family were doing was even right. But they were her parents. They always know best about the world around them.

Even if she disobeys them, even though her curiosity got the better of her and tried to go into the woods only to get caught by her father, a part of her still loved him. He dragged her by the hair and dunked her head in a bucket of water. He held her down as she struggled, using her only chance at getting air to apologize for disobeying. He only let go after her vision started going dark.

They were her parents.

The lady of the house knows when to stay quiet. When men are talking, they are to be silent unless they are told to speak. Grace followed those rules with some hesitance. Would anyone really notice how loud her screams were when her dad beats her?

Her clothes are too small. They show too much skin.

Grace had to wear long skirts and puffy long sleeves. If she was being honest, she looked more like a nun than a regular girl. But rules were rules.

Men are superior to women, her dad had said. The man of the house takes care of everything.

She stayed silent, playing the role of the polite young lady everyone at the church fawned over.

Sometimes, her dad would take her to the basement, chain her up and whip her. Wether it's from a bad day at work or his hidden anger not being able to be contained anymore. He leaves her with welts all over her body that she had to cover up with her clothes.

Worthless. You were a mistake.

You are meant to stay down.

Grace imagined herself as the princess stuck in a tower, waiting for the prince to come save her. She sometimes had thoughts of killing her parents and running away from the group, from the way things were taught to her, but she couldn't defy her parents. Killing is a sin. She must not disobey God.

But she can't stop the thoughts. She can't stop them. It would be so liberating, but she can't. She can't.

She had to stay in her tower, endearing what her father does to her. This was her life. And she wouldn't trade it for anyone else.
