Kirishima hobbled down the stairs with his eyes half closed. He was planning on just going down to the kitchen, get a glass of water to clear his headache, and go back to bed. That plan was out the window the second he saw a light on in the kitchen. He entered the room and saw a mess of spiky, ash blonde hair leaned over a book with a cup of tea. Katsuki Bakugo was doing some late studying. Deciding it was better for his health to announce his presence before making contact.

“Hey Bakubro.” he groggily wrapped his arms around his friends shoulders and rested his chin on top of his head. “You know your hair is really fluffy right?” the other boy sighed and pushed away from the table.

“What’s wrong Ei?” Kiri always loved it when Bakugo called him Ei.

“What makes you think something is wrong?” The blonde gave him a skeptical look. “Okay okay...it's not really a big deal. I woke up with an upset stomach and came down to get a glass of water.” Bakugo gripped Kiri by the shoulders and sat him down on a chair. He got up and gathered up the pencils and papers that were around the textbook on the table. Kirishima set his tired head on the table, thankful for the chill of the wood. A cold glass of water was set in front of him and he sat up to drink.

“You gonna be okay? I can have Kaminari explain to Aizawa if you are too sick for class.”

“Couldn't you do it?”

“Dummy. If you are too sick for school, I'm staying with you.” Kirishima looked at him and he added, “You would do the same for me.”

“Aww thanks bro. Seriously though. You shouldn't miss class for me.”

“You've done it for me before. When I couldn't go back to class after being kidnapped, you stayed with me as long as you could. It's my turn now. What is it you always say? ‘Bro Code’ am I right?” Kiri tried to laugh but it got stuck in his throat and resulted in a coughing fit. “Come on Kiri. You need to rest.” Bakugo let Kirishima lean on him and they took the elevator to the fourth floor. Pushing open the door, Bakugo made sure Kirishima was comfortable before going back to his own room to put away the books. After tucking them away he quickly returned to Eijiro’s room. Katsuki didn’t see Kirishima on the bed where he was before. After checking the bathroom, Katsuki went onto the balcony. He found Eijiro sitting on a beanbag, and wrapped in a blanket.

“Before you yell at me, can i explain? The stars are super pretty tonight and i just wanted to see them closer. The balcony is as close as I can get.” Bakugo hesitated before making a decision.

“That’s not true. You can get closer.” Kirishima turned his whole body to look at him. “When we first moved into the dorms, I found a spot. Come on.” He lifted Eijiro and practically carried him into the side room with the staircase to the roof. He lifted a box and pulled out the mat he kept there. 

“Where are we going Katsuki?” Katsuki blinked in surprise when Eijiro called him Katsuki, but didnt say anything about it.

“Shut it and follow me. You wanted to see the stars?” Eijiro gasped when Katsuki pushed open the door and saw the brightly shining stars. Katsuki released Eijiro’s arm to lay out the mat and pillow. He took a seat and pulled Eijiro down as well. “You being sick as you are, you shouldn't be up here but I figured you would like it up here.”

“How often do you come up here? It's so pretty.”

“I like to come up here on nights like this. When the stars shine bright.”

“Yeah, the stars are really pretty tonight.” Before Katsuki knew it the words were out.

“You're the prettiest star.” It was quiet and Katsuki hoped that Eijiro hadn't heard him.

“What was that?” Ah shit. He heard it.

“I said I want to hit you with a car! You are way too close to the edge dummy.” 

 Please forget what I said. Jesus christ that was so gay. 

“Oh your right! The edge is right there!”

“Dummy. Be more careful.” Katsuki saw Eijiro’s arms shiver in the cold. “I don’t have enough blankets up here. I'm wearing a hoodie. You aren't. You'll get even more sick if we don't go back now. You already aren't doing well. We can come back when you feel better.”

“Okay mom.” Katsuki laughed.

“Watch it Ei. I have to take care of my son.”
