i remember seeing an interview clip with Ryan, wherein he was lamenting about how The Nice Guys was decimated by Angry Birds (in theatres), and he was all "but we're a gosling and a crowe, we can be angry birds" or something lol

Never thought I'd draw Russell Crowe but here we are! I also didn't like this movie upon first watch, but then fell down the rabbit hole of fanart and fic and yup - I love it now lol (the power of fandom never ceases to amaze me)

I watched the Avatar Aang movie last night finally, and oh my god what a visual masterpiece. I did quite like the style they went with, but it would have also worked with their rounder features from the original I think! Anyways here's a re-draw~
