vivi looked down at the girl who had shouted and it dawned on them that lexie was shouting at her. quite bold of her, viv had to admit.  “am i blocking your sun ? ”  she asked, hand on her hip, not making a single motion to move.  “i wasn’t aware it had been purchased. must have cost a pretty penny.” 

Lexie raised a brow at the other. Had she met her match? She was about to find out. “It did actually. A lot more than your shoes did anyway. Now, do you mind-” She spat out making a motion with her hands in reference to make the girl scoot over.

Teddy turned around and pulled a face as he heard someone shout at him for blocking their sun. “There’s plenty more sun lounger to go and lie down on if I’m in the way of one here,” the brunette mumbled. “Besides look at it as if I’m doing you a favour. I’m preventing you from getting heat-stroke. You should be thanking me, really.”

“Oh, Teddy, how I’ve missed your, charm, really. It never gets old.” She spoke sarcastically with a wrinkle of her nose. Something about him easily got under her skin, yet another part drew her in. Maybe it was his smile or deeply piercing eyes. Whatever it was, it always kept her coming back. “My hero. What would I do without you?” She asked, running her fingers through her dark brown hair.

“i think i needed to remind you with it, it seems like you’re forgetting how blessed your baby brother is. and come on, lex. i’m not a five year old kid. i can fight my own battles.” he proudly said. although it wasn’t only half true, in times of problem, liam would keep running back to his sister and ask for help. she’s the only family he has that cares for him. his eyes flickered with amusement because of her confession. “how come? what did you do this time? did you show her your spoiled bitch trait?”

“You say that now, but when you need me you’ll be singing an entirely different tune. You act like I don’t have you completely figured out.” She spoke proudly, but knowing very well that if roles were reversed, she’d be running for his help as well. At the end of the day, they always had eachother. “Hey! Why do you assume it’s always me? And I think my spoiled bit trait can be quite charming.” She laughed.

“Well, you’re the one who decided to sit there when I was already here first,” Elise said with a shrug and saccharine smile before turning away.

“Did I ask who was here first? My point is, there’s plenty of places to stand, where as there are not as many chairs. And this one happens to be the best. So, therefore, it’s mine. Now, if you don’t mind scooching.” She gave a condescending smile.”

Out of all the people he could have run into once back on the ship why did it have to be Lexie. He thinks of pretending not to hear her but without thinking he turns. “I was just passing by but don’t worry I won’t block your sun again.” 

She gave they boy a small charismatic smile, brushing her slightly damp hair over her shoulder. “Oh, it’s alright Colin. Just don’t let it happen again.” She teased with a giggle in her voice, bringing her sunglasses over her eyes.

aria had been on her way to the gym when she got distracted. which happened often. this time it was by her phone and so she stood where she was, returning a couple of texts and glancing over her shoulder at the rude female shouting. “try using your manners, otherwise my shadow is happy right where she is.” with a shrug she diverted her attention back to her phone.

The feisty brunette rolled her eyes, putting her sunglasses on top of her head as she peered up at the the other. She let out a small scoff, lifting a brow. “You act as if I owe you the curtesy of asking nicely, when you’re the one who rudely stopped in front of me. So, I’ll try again, move about 3 feet to your left. and that’s as nice as you’re getting, sweet cheeks.”

“o-oh, sorry.” brandon apologizes. sucking his bottom lip between his teeth, the male furrows his brows, “a simple excuse me would’ve sufficed but, i guess.” he shrugs, “bad day or something?”

“Forgiven. Just don’t do it again.” She flipped her sunglasses over her eyes as she leaned back in her chair. “It would, but that’s not really me. And I don’t do things just because it’s what other people ‘think would suffice’ thank you.” She shrugged. “I’m actually having a wonderful day.”

“your sun?” briar scoffed, pushing her sunglasses above her head. “come on, if anything you’ll be thankful to me when you don’t get skin cancer.”

“Bri, stop being stubborn and just sit down please. You really need to learn to take a joke.” She laughed lightly, patting the chair next to her for her best friend. “And as for the skin cancer, I have sunblock for a reason.”

“S-So I’m taking it y-you haven’t missed me Lex.” Romeo spoke up as he looked down as he stood over her chair. “N-Nice to see you too.” He laughed softly. 

The brunette’s eyes had been fixed on her songbook, not even noticing who it was above her. Once she heard the familiar voice of Romeo, she looked up with a small smile. “It’s be a lot a nicer to see you if you sat down next to me instead of creating a breeze.” She teased. “But I did miss you.” She set the book in her lap, closing it.

                AT LEAST THAT storm was over, it was really dampening the whole vibe that the cruise even offered to begin with, and as she laid sprawled out on her own chair she heard the girl near her shout at someone blocking the sun. honestly, jewel wasn’t even paying attention, and she rolled over to snap her fingers at the figure, “move.” she commanded before glancing at the girl with a shrug, “some people are so inconsiderate.”

Lexie let out a small laugh as she saw the girl walk away, turning to the face the other. “You can say that again.” she lifted her cosmo up to her lips, as she didn’t have class that day. “At least somebody else here has some brain cells. Nice glasses by the way.” She spoke sincerely.

“Oh come on, Lex, there’s plenty of sun for everyone.” Kat told her from the lounge chair nearby.

“But how am I supposed to look sunkissed if there’s a big shadow on my forehead? I mean, that would just looked ridiculous.” She let out a small sigh, taking a sip from the smoothie in her hand.

“that’s pretty obvious. there’s all kinds of intensity right now. or maybe you can learn to ignore it and pretend a bit. oh, oops, how terrible for them.” her eyes rolled slightly, letting her body relax in the moment. “i have not and i’m sure they’re nice but maybe not. everyone has opinions and they aren’t always right.” 

“Thanks for the advice, but I didn’t ask what I could do.I’m aware I could do anything, I just choose not to. It is terrible for them.” She tossed her curly brown hair behind a shoulder, before letting out a condescending laugh. “That might be true, but I’m always right.”

“you should feel lucky for having me as a gift, dear sister. i’m smart, kind, and especially good-looking. your baby brother is popular around girls, didn’t you know?” an obvious joke but hopefully, it will be the easiest way to annoy his sister. regardless, he loves her and is delighted to have her around. his face acted he was scared for a bit before laughing sarcastically, inviting himself to sit with his body facing her. “very funny. you love me too much to hurt me, lex.” bragging proudly, oozing with so much confidence in his body. “so, how are you? did you make some new enemy?”

The girl rolled her eyes. “Please, that is not something that I need to know. But, just know if any of those girls give you trouble, just send big sis after them. I’ll take care of it.”  She laughed, leaning back in her chair. Liam was the only person she could be 100 percent open with. There was nothing she couldn’t tell him. “Just the girl I had to room with at the hotel. She is quite... something.”
