welcome aboard, colin o'hennessy, student #25. we are excited to set sail with you !  has anyone told you that you look like jacob elordi? according to our records, you hail from londonderry, northern ireland, prefer preferred he/him, are cismale, and are here to study history. we also see you received a spot on the ss university because of your academic scholarship— we won’t tell anyone. during your first few weeks here, other students said you were + loyal, + disciplined, but also - resentful. it sounds like you spend most of your time at the library. upon checking your luggage, we noticed you packed a silver ring brought from home. hopefully your roommates don’t steal it!

hellooooo my name is lily! i’m super excited to be part of this rp and i hope i get to rp and plot with all of you! my dms are always open and i’ll tell you a bit about colin. i might change some stuff later to fit his adoptive sister storyline but overall this is what i have.

ruby: then what it is like? it shouldn't be this hard

ruby: you just referred me as your sister but you can't just say the words directly towards me?

ruby: it's so easy for you to call yourself the favorite and two seconds later act like you never had a sister for six years?

ruby: give me a fucking break

colin: but it is hard

colin: i don't think you understand, i doubt you'll ever understand if i'm honest

colin: you know that's not what i meant

“Is that so? So it’s pretty much even.” She replied with a laugh. “I’m a bit afraid some of them might be a bit childish, but I am excited to share them with you.” She stated as she admired the way he took interested in her work. As they pulled away the familiar butterflies Fable had on their first date seemed to return. She was dreaming she was sure of it. “I believe that is fair. I think I have something of my own to tell you as well.” She whispered biting her lip gently. “I’ll let you go first.” 

“We never said what would you get if I lose,” he pointed with a smile. “I want to know what teenage Fable was thinking, I want to know everything about you.” He really meant that, he was committed to get to know Fable and fall even more in love with her. His stomach sunk when she said she also had something to say, he couldn’t even think what could it be. Colin took a deep breath, taking a step back as he looked at his hands nervously. “A few months ago, I kissed someone at a party, well, not someone, Aria.” He looked at her, unsure of what to expect. “I swear I didn’t mean anything.”

ruby: if you think it's /just/ a word that only shows how little you think of me

ruby: YOU DON'T EVEN TRY TO LET US UNDERSTAND YOU

ruby: then where do you want to fight in person?

colin: it's not like that, ru

colin: WHAT DO YOU WANT TO UNDERSTAND?

“I did. I came prepared to lose.” She replied as she leaned into his hand as he brushed her hair from her face. “Of course I will be glad to tell you the story behind it.” She responded with a smile. Regardless of who lost she wanted to share a part of her with him anyway, no matter if it would cause her face to flush from him reading her inner thoughts as a teen in high school. “I believe I would that.” She whispered as another giggle fell from her lips. “He should know I’m quite lucky as well. He happens to be extraordinary himself.” She stated as she rested on the tips of her toes slightly their foreheads pressed together as he cupped her face kissing her softly. Kissing him back she felt this moment should never draw to an end her hand playing with the hair on the nape of his neck. 

“If it makes you feel any better, you make me blush just as much.” He smiled, gazing into her eyes. “I can’t wait to read them. I’m sure you’re amazing.” Colin knew that she was talented and he wanted nothing more but to enjoy her talent. He could have sworn that his heart stopped when she agreed, that old fluttering feeling coming back as she kissed him back. Everything about this moment just felt right, he deepened the kiss, arms wrapping around her waist. As he pulled apart, he knew that if they were going to be serious he needed to come clean with some stuff. “Uh, I really want to start this relationship being completely honest with you. There’s something I have to tell you.”

ruby: just drop it, i'm over hoping for things that will never happen

ruby: GOOD TO KNOW YOU WOULD RATHER STAY HERE THAN WITH A FAMILY THAT LOVES YOU

ruby: why? its not like you are

ruby: well that's just fucking great, good for you

colin: are you seriously throwing a fit over this? it's a word, ruby!

colin: YOU KNOW THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT

“I would lose so easily. You know me so well. I might as well hand one over now.” The shorter brunette joked back as she gazed up after having hid her face. “I wouldn’t mind being that kind of couple with you. I don’t think I would mind being a couple with you at all.” She reassured him as the arms that was laced around him slipped away from his waist as she turned to stand in front of him. “Others?” She hummed softly. “I only see one I am particularly fond of and I believe he’s right here in front of me.” She replied as she took wrapped her arms around his neck swaying softly. 

“Did you bring one with you? Because I will not only need to read it but I need the story,” he pointed out with a laugh, hand reaching out to brush a hair from her face. Her reassurance was enough to make him lose the bet. He looked away, but the smile on his face gave away how glad he was feeling. “Does that mean you want to, uh, be my girlfriend?” He felt so silly asking this as if he was a teenager. “Well, that’s one lucky guy then because you’re amazing.” He laughed before leaning in, their foreheads touching as one hand moved to cup her face, not hesitating to kiss her softly.

ruby: fine then, don't say it

ruby: I'M GONNA MURDER YOU AND LEAVE YOU IN MEXICO

ruby: it's like you don't even hear what i'm trying to say

ruby: i haven't noticed, you sure act like it

colin: are you gonna get mad over this? really?

colin: FINE BY ME, I LOVE MEXICO

colin: well then be clearer with your words

“If I blush I lose the bet myself.” Fable spoke in turn as she continue to glance up at him a laugh leaving her lips only moments before she would have actually lost the bet. “I couldn’t resist. I can’t wait for us to try them all together.” She replied excitedly as she buried her face in his side knowing fully well he caught her red handed. “Steal me away prince charming. I have cleared my schedule for the whole day.” 

“So you don’t want to lose this fast because I could make you lose right now and then I could read one of those poems you told me,” he said jokingly, a laugh escaping past his lips. “Are we gonna be one of those cheesy couples with matching shirts? Because I’m in.” For a second panic filled him for they hadn’t really used the word ‘couple’ and while Colin felt absolutely sure of his feelings for Fable, he still felt nervous about labelling their relationship. “Are you sure your other suitors won’t mind?”

ruby: no don't take it back, why can't you just say it directly at me? do you hate me that much?

ruby: HOW IS THAT EVEN FAIR, IM NOT BEING A LOSER

ruby: i'm trying to be serious here, you know i've been nothing but understand with your feelings.

ruby: goddamn i need new parents

colin: because you make a huge deal out of it

colin: YOU LOST HENCE YOU ARE A LOSER

colin: i'm just saying maybe i'll try to be nicer to you

Fable felt herself smile up at the taller brunette and leaned into his side. The time she had spent with him was some of the most amazing times she felt like she had on her time on the seas. “Don’t make me blush.” She stated with a slight giggle leaving her lips. “Isn’t it? I’m glad we get to go around together to enjoy it.” She replied as she leaned up to kiss his cheek. Mexico was on her list of places she wanted to see and it had proven to be one of the best so far. “It was nice. I have our t-shirts back on board. I can’t want to give you yours.” She said a slight blush creeping on her cheeks.

“But I want you to blush!” he said with a chuckle. “Is the bet still on?” It took everything in him not to blush when she kissed his cheek but he couldn’t lose the bet this early. “I can’t wait to see it. I’m sure they are great, thanks for getting them.” His smile never fading and while he noticed the slight blush on her cheeks, he didn’t say anything this time. “I’m glad you had fun with Sierra but if you don’t mind, I’d like to steal you all day today.” 

ruby: you're hurting my feelings

ruby: should i get used to you being nicer? is that you being serious?

ruby: I HATE YOU IM TELLING MOM YOU'RE BEING MEAN TO ME

colin: well, get over it

colin: I STILL WON, SO STOP BEING A SORE LOSER

colin: when you act this surprised you remind me why i'm never nice to you

                    this  already  strange  and  awkward  enough  for  her  to  be  standing  right  beside  him  when  she’s  feeling  all  these  emotions  she  shouldn’t  .  zara  thinks  what  he  did  is  unfair  .   leaving  her  in  the  dark   ,   wondering  what  happened   ,   where  it  went  wrong   ,   why  all  of  a  sudden  when  they  were  just  doing  good  .   was  it  all  one  sided  then   ?   she  feels  so  stupid  for  believing  his  sweet  words  when  in  the  end   ,   he’ll  only  take  it  away  with  him  when  he  decided  never  to  see  her  again  .   zara  was  slowly  doing  fine   ,   meeting  new  people   ,   hanging  out  with  friends   ,   having  fun  .   then  this  .   she  doesn’t  want  to  talk  to  him  any  longer  knowing  she’s  feeling  a  lot  right  now  .   it’s  dangerous  .   instead   ,   she  glances  over  at  the  counter  and  sighs  .     ❛   when’s  our  drinks  coming   ?   can  you  follow  it  up   ?   ❜    she  asks   ,   glancing  back  to  meet  his  gaze  .     ❛   that’s  great  for  you  .   i’m  really  happy  to  hear  that  .   ❜

Fable stopped in her tracks as took her time to take in her surroundings and breathing the air in. It was breathtaking, and there seemed to never be a word better to described how this shared moment with him felt. Having the slight wind run through her hair she glanced her eyes up at the taller brunettes her arm wounded around his waist out of habit. “Could we have picked a more perfect place?” She asked with a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips.

With his arm around her shoulder, Colin felt as if he’d won the lottery. There was really nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with Fable, especially in a place like this one. “Any place with you is perfect,” he said, smiling down at her. “But I do have to admit this place is beautiful.” One of the places he was excited about visiting was Mexico, so this only made it better. “How was your day with Sierra?”

ruby: well to be fair you didn't say it directly to me so i deserve at least that, colin. please?

ruby: YOU'RE THE ONE THAT'S GONNA GET HIS ASS KICKED BY SOMEONE WHO IS A FOOT SHORTER THAN YOU

ruby: it's gross bc i'm not used to it

ruby: FUCKING GOOD FOR THEM THEN COLINS

colin: you're making it weird. i'm gonna take it back

colin: SURE, THAT'S WHAT YOU SAID LAST TIME AND I BEAT YOU

colin: well get used to it although i don't like the idea of being nice to you

Fable: My door will always be open for you. I'm just next door. You don't have any idea how happy that makes me. Next time we dock I'm getting t-shirts made so I can walk around advertising I'm your biggest fan. I certainly will. I don't want to be stuck with anyone else either. Time is key handsome.

Fable: I can do that, as well give you new poetry I would have wrote.

Fable: The day I assumed you were going to buy my food and you did. I believe that was the day I felt I had to get to know you. You weren't just this attractive guy, you were easy to talk to, and I knew just from that moment you were the guy I wanted to take all my chances with.

Colin: Next door and it still feel so far. I'm gonna need one too just to tell everyone how much i admire you. Time is really key and I'm planning to spend a lot of time with you.
