•I’m doing wonderful and queerer than ever

•a huge congrats to @danielhowell on coming out. As someone who grew up in a homophobic small town and had so much internalised oppression growing up, it gives me such peace to see someone I look up to acknowledge their past and grow from it to become such a great role model, as well as acknowledging the label of queer as an umbrella term in both sexual and gender identity (for those who chose to do so ofc). It relieved me so much when I found out that I could reclaim it as a label rather than being forced to be specific with my sexual (and more recently gender) identity, and to see one of my teen icons gather the courage to do that makes me immensely proud. Thank you so, so much.
