The South Node - An Area of Unfair Sacrifice
The Nodes are where we pay an unfair price for a necessary exchange. It is where we offer an area of a given house in order to have any life progress and growth at all in the area of the opposite.
It takes a human incarnation years to redefine and correct the areas of the South Node, as early in life it is karmically out of our control. So we need to give up on this area in its traditional form, knowing it will never function in a way that is beneficial to us. That becomes particularly painful when there is a planet conjunct the South Node. These areas of life produce a feeling of lack, but it is a sacrifice necessary in order for one to be able to grow in the area of the North Node.
As much as the Nodes are both unstable in their own right, the North Node being friendly to Saturn, offers a stable, reliable progress over time, with effort, maturity and reflection put into it, mixed with its cutting edge, out of the box, freedom oriented mindset. The North Node inspires us to actually set a goal.
The South Node causes so much pain, because the South Node and Saturn are enemies. Saturn is strict, but fair. Saturn is an Earthly life regulator of being given the right opportunities. Saturn offers measurable steps, solutions and rewards, even if it comes with timidness and obstacles. The South Node is the sum total of our karma, that reaches down to past lives, and thus it is responsible for wreaking havoc on our lives in ways that are beyond logical, rational fixing. It requires a completely meditative, surrendered attitude. In extreme cases, it requires one to completely move away from the given planet/house area, or only do the absolute minimum if necessary for survival.
The South Node requires of us to achieve a level of Monkhood, even if on a small scale. Early in life, as we are unexperienced in dealing with that energy, we end up being taken advantage of, and we give ourselves away. A mature South Node instead isolates from all unwanted stimuli, not really taken excessively for oneself, but also setting healthy boundaries through distance. We can actually have gains from the South Node our whole lives, if we don't try to control them or approach them too much.
Only as we mature into our 40s, the Karma of the South Node lets up, giving us exactly what we needed, even if in minimal form, perfectly tailored to our needs. To give you a more tangible example of how the Karma of the South Node works, somebody with their South Node in the 7th house may have an impossible time finding a good life partner on a personal ground. They may have successful, working business relationships from a degree of distance. They may have long-distance online romances. Since their life karma wants them to focus on individuality, self discovery, self expression and independence, the North Node in the 1st house may inflate their ego. That is actually a positive phenomenon with this alignment. The native may find, that the more full of themselves they are, the more they invest in their own brand, the more they attract successful working partnerships. Nevertheless, true intimacy mixed with acceptance of the person's basic identity, remains out of reach.
As a result, this native gives up on their deep desire for a successful, intimate partnership. They adopt a mentality of "This is who I am, and I am going to be myself and express myself to the fullest, and I am not compromising anything for that. Anyone who approaches me, if they want to be close, must accept that, as I fully delve into discovering my individual self every day". Ironically, it is that attitude of complete self acceptance, that solidifies the person's character and teaches them not to compromise. Then, when the South Node karma lets up at its own designated time, sometime after 42, just as the native has completely surrendered to such a lifestyle and given up on one's desire even if deep down they hold it in their heart, they unexpectedly meet their perfect match. They receive exactly what they have been missing all along, after they have completely reinvented themselves.
The concept of unfairness related to the South Node comes from the fact, that prior to that time, the desire of the South Node house and any planet conjunct it, remains emotionally dissatisfying. Any time the native tries to pursue the matters of that house outright, especially on a more sensitive level, they will be denied. There will be no fairness, even with a delay as Saturn would want, no equal payback, no "rightness", only strife, that ensures the native is pushed back towards their North Node.
The difference in South Node functionality and planetary alignment in between charts is in the fact, that as much as it denies emotional satisfaction, a strong South Node is actually a stable support system. Using the example above, the person with South Node in the 7th house, if well functioning, will actually attract an array of partnerships to help them construct their own brand. They will always have somebody available. They may even be the kind, who marry exclusively for status and name, and agree to a level of distance in the marriage in order to advance themselves on a personal level. The other significator of South Node karma is how fast it lets up. The Nodal release starts according to Vedic classics at the age of 42, but a stronger holding, more karmic South Node will delay that progress into the native's 50s and beyond.
The best functioning South Node is one, that fully, naturally, embraces detachment early on in life and doesn't look back. Often, a strong North Node helps, as it gives one a measurable goal to strive for. A struggling South Node is extremely stuck in the past, which manifests as passing up opportunities when they appear, out of a desire to remain within one's comfort zone, being avoidant of the North Node.
Another, more unorthodox form of the South Node, is the aforementioned concept of monkhood. These are people, who completely embrace servile roles, completely ridding themselves of any earthly desire, choosing an ascetic life with no reward. That may be a necessity one is forced into due to extremely heavy past life karmas.
Revati's Mystery & Magic✨🐘🎭🌠
Revati is perhaps one of the most misunderstood nakshatras (although I'd say every nakshatra is misunderstood in one way or another because of how mainstream narratives about that nak focuses heavily on a few aspects and not others). Revati is the very last nakshatra and it lies entirely in watery Pisces rashi. It is also the concluding Mercury nakshatra. It is very interesting to me that the cycle of nakshatras begins in Ketu (Aswini) and ends in Mercury (Revati). Ketu is formless, it is the tail of the dragon and represents the subconscious realm or a state prior to the materialisation of spirit/form. Aswini is of course followed by Bharani nakshatra which is where creation takes root. The progression of nakshatras reveals a story about the development of humanity/civilization. It concludes in Mercury which is a eunuch/genderless planet and in the water rashi (the complete opposite of Aries which is a fire rashi). Once an individual has passed through all the previous stages, life concludes in water. (Proverbially life also began in water) and transcended beyond gender, concludes itself in a genderless planet, because someone who has integrated their masculine and feminine energies becomes unified; the true Androgyne.
Mercury represents the mind, both other Mercury nakshatras (Ashlesha & Jyeshta) belong to the rakshasa ("demonic") gana but as the concluding nakshatra, Revati belongs to deva ("godly") gana. All Mercury naks belong to water rashis (cancer, scorpio and pisces) however the fact that only Revati belongs to the Deva gana is very telling.
As the concluding nak, it represents how once an individual has gained mastery over everything, the only terrain left to conquer is themselves and their mind. We are all capable of both creation and destruction, just like water which is simultaneously life-sustaining but also capable of great catastrophes.
Revati has the largest yoni animal; the elephant. This refers to the immense capacity Revati possesses to hold within itself a diverse, vast and wide rage of skills, talents, knowledge and wisdom. The emotional reservoir runs deep.
The other Mercurial naks have the smallest yoni animals (cat & rat/rabbit) and restriction/limitation is a major theme through both those naks. However Revati is boundless and vast. It is NOT infinite however since water is very much a finite resource. Revati natives have a lot of energy and enthusiasm but they also feel drained and depleted after a point. This is in contrast to the infinite cosmic space and abundance possessed by Punarvasu or Swati; they simply NEVER run out of gas in their tank, they can give give give and not feel exhausted. This is a cosmic capacity given to a few. (I must add that both Punarvasu & Swati are also Deva gana nakshatras).
The word "Revati" in Sanskrit means "wealth" and while this manifests literally in the lives of many natives, it also points to spiritual wealth and the inner reservoir of these natives. Not coincidentally, many Revati natives experience extreme financial situations in their lives; usually following a very rags to riches path. Often times they are born into great wealth as well (as Claire Nakti's Nepo Baby research proved- Revati was the top nakshatra among them).
Those natives who grow up in dire circumstances are forced to cultivate other talents, skills, charisma etc that will later on help them build very abundant lives.
Revati has the cosmic purpose of "moksha" or "liberation" (the others being Artha, Kama & Dharma). When one has transcended all other previous stages, all there is left for one to do is seek Moksha.
Revati is said to be endowed with all 6 opulences beauty, wealth, fame, knowledge, strength and renunciation.
Revati natives have a certain natural flair for things, the combination of Revati's mercurial prowess with Pisces' Jupiter influence, endows these natives with an uncanny charisma and ability to read people/situations well and respond accordingly. Revati natives often have ✨presence✨there's usually a very ethereal, otherworldly charm to them; they do not seem to belong to this world, the rules dont seem to apply to them.
Obviously, they are often also naturally skilled at "manifestation" which is the art of creating your own reality. Jupiter's influence grants these gifts to a native.
One reason why they are so misunderstood is because they are so detached, they are kind of dreamy, kind of passive and distant. They are very self contained and this comes across as aloofness. They are by design unattached to things most people regard as precious; this is not because they are uncaring but because being the final nakshatra, they have surpassed all levels of pretense and value judgements; being misunderstood is hurtful but they can't stop being who they are.
They are eccentric, kinda offbeat and a little weird and they are largely detached from conventional society and trying to act "normal" in order to fit in.
A lot of people think they're crazy or weird and they are labelled as such but their madness is what makes them who they are.
One underrated aspect of Revatis is their geekiness tbh
Cardi B, Revati Moon
Cardi was on an episode of Hot Ones recently and spoke about how much she loves reading about history and WW1&2 and she geeked out about visiting Roosevelt's house/office and how that was such a big moment for her.
Angelina Jolie, Revati Moon
She has described herself as "I’m a closet foreign policy wonk. I’m a bit more boring than people would think… I’m a bit of a geek." and read any magazine interview of hers and you would know how well informed and educated she is about all the issues she puts her weight behind.
Kim Taehyung, Revati Moon
He loves art and has a lot of seemingly random trivial knowledge about a lot of different things. He's very diversely talented and has lots of random interests.
He said this in an interview:
"I’m someone who just really loves watching movies. Whenever I do, I find myself naturally drawn more to the villain characters rather than the heroes. When you watch a film, you have to look at the big picture, or the forest for the trees. I think that villains play a very big role in making that overall picture complete; they really have to sell their own charisma to make the movie come to life. If the villain doesn’t really have depth to their character, or if there’s no chemistry between the characters, then the hero can’t really shine either. So I always end up watching the villain characters closely. I’ve told a lot of my friends and people around me that I now have this ambition to play a villain at least once."
A lot of Revatis express feelings of being misunderstood and empathising with villains seems to be a running theme among many Revati natives.
This is Angelina Jolie's 2015 speech when she won Best Villain at the Kids Choice Awards:
"When I was little, like Maleficent, I was told that I was different, and I felt out of place, and too loud, too full of fire, never good at sitting still, never good at fitting in. And then one day I realised something, something I hope you all realise. Different is good. So don’t fit in, don’t sit still, never try to be less than what you are, and when someone tells you that you are different, smile and hold your head up high and be proud. And as your villain, I would also say - cause a little trouble, it's good for you."
Revatis are not a monolith and this nak manifests very differently in people (also affected by the rest of their chart) but I've noticed how many famous Revatis have battled substance abuse and other mental health struggles. Ex: Heath Ledger (Revati Sun & Rising), Angelina Jolie (Revati Moon), Jamie Lee Curtis (Revati Moon), Kevin Spacey (Revati Moon), Jared Leto (Revati Moon) many Revatis have also experienced abuse either as children or from their partners, this again includes, Jolie, Rihanna (Revati Moon & Rising), Shakira (Revati Rising), Whitney Houston (Revati Moon), Tori Amos (Jupiter in Revati atmakaraka), Maya Angelou (Revati Sun conjunct Jupiter), Ashley Judd (Revati stellium), Marilyn Manson (Saturn in Revati atmakaraka)
The thing about abuse is that you live with a lot of shame and are made to feel "different" from others, most abusers try to paint their victims as the bad guy who deserves to be "punished", this does explain part of Revati's association with villains (they're made to feel like the villain).
in her video Claire Nakti had explored how men who have played the Joker onscreen tend to have strong Revati placements, tying into how Revati is associated with the trickster archetype.
I think this has led to a lot of misunderstanding in the vedic community regarding the nature of Revatis.
Joker's origin story is that of a man who, while disguised as the criminal Red Hood, is pursued by Batman and falls into a vat of chemicals that bleaches his skin, colours his hair green and his lips red, and drives him insane.
It is a traumatic event/accident that drives Joker to the point of insanity and turns him into a psychopath. With that in mind, I'd already stated above how many Revatis seem to have suffered abuse in their lives (unfortunately) but I feel like especially among Revati men, suffering from abuse/experiencing trauma makes them more prone to being evil whereas it usually makes a Revati women more empathetic, kind and caring.
I'll use Jeffrey Dahmer (Revati Moon) as an example. He was largely neglected as a child as a consequence of which he had abandonment issues. Obviously not everyone who's neglected and abandoned grows up to be a serial killer & a cannibal but I feel like more often than not, Revati men are susceptible to the nakshatras darkness and instead of trauma being something that acts as a vehicle for radical personal change, they tend to be cruel and evil as a result of it.
Jeffrey Epstein, Kevin Spacey, Tony Robbins, Jared Leto (all Revati Moon) Alec Baldwin, Russell Crowe, and Steven Seagal (all Revati Sun) have all displayed varying degrees of cruel & evil behaviour.
in the movie Maleficent, the titular character is not inherently villainous, bad or evil, she starts out as a regular gal and experiences horrific abuse, the trauma and pain of which makes her "villainous".
There is a very painful scene in the movie (spoiler alert!!) where Maleficent's wings are cut off by someone she considered a friend when she's in a drug induced slumber.
Angelina Jolie herself confirmed that the scene was a metaphor for rape.
"We were very conscious, the writer [Linda Woolverton] and I, that it was a metaphor for rape,' she explained of the act of violence that takes place as her character is in a drug-induced sleep. 'And that this would be the thing that would make her lose sight of that. While it is 'an extreme Disney, fun version of it', at its core, the film is about 'abuse, and how the abused then have a choice of abusing others or overcoming and remaining loving, open people'. 'The question was asked: "What could make a woman become so dark and lose all sense of her maternity, her womanhood and her softness?" Something would have to be so violent and aggressive.' [We] created a past for her that led to the moment in which she curses Aurora, then takes us past that moment from Maleficent's point of view,' she said."
This is not to say all Revati men are evil or unkind or that this nak manifests positively only for women.
Ben Mendelson (Revati Sun) is an actor known for playing the bad guy in most of his films.
"I think you've gotta enjoy the bad guys, to a certain degree. Unless what they do is so terrible, I think you're supposed to enjoy the bad guys. Vincent Price was probably one of the most enjoyable and successful bad guy actors of all time. He was doing terrible stuff, but we enjoy watching it. To me, that sort of character is what you want to aim for. You want to be enjoyable for an audience. What happens when a bad guy is enjoyable is that the audience gets to be bad for a little moment, too, and that's nice. It's nice, within the confines of watching a film, to get to be the bad guy."
This is far more mature and healthy response from an evolved Revati native.
A scene from Girl, Interrupted starring Revati Moon, Angelina Jolie
Sometimes Revati natives play into the shocking and weird nature that people expect from them. They often play a caricature of themselves but due to their inherent watery nature and expansive Pisces tendency, its hard for them to do this for long, so they do things people dont expect of them, further confusing their audience.
The nurturing aspect of Revatis are often overlooked. The fact that they're tricksters and jesters doesn't take away the fact that they're highly empathetic and kind. The brighter the star, the darker the shadow, Revati natives are some of the most naturally gifted people, be it their beauty, charisma, talent, personality etc, they are so naturally abundant. However one must understand that abundance does not exist in a vacuum, there is a downside to every blessing. Its wise to not dwell in it too much but one must recognize it.
Rihanna (Revati Moon & Rising)
She's a singer, actor, businesswoman, billionaire, fashion icon and humanitarian and she's been doing al this since she was a teenager. Rihanna is a great example of the range of Revati in every regard, she's had her own fair share of pain, trauma, abuse and hurt but she's also a million other things.
Claire said in her video about Revati's hypersexual nature and fascination with sexual taboos. However I think Revatis have a very dual nature where they're either celibate and chaste or extremely indulgent.
In a 2003 interview, Angelina Jolie said this:
“I went for about two years with absolutely no man around me and then decided to get closer to men who were already very close friends of mine,” says Jolie, 28.
in a 2015 interview, Rihanna said this:
"I honestly think how much fun it would be to live my reputation,” she said. “People have this image of how wild and crazy I am, and I’m not everything they think of me. The reality is that the fame, the rumours — this picture means this, another picture means that — it really freaks me out. It made me back away from even wanting to attempt to date. It’s become second nature for me to just close that door and just be okay with that. I’m always concerned about whether people have good or bad intentions."
Rihanna, 27, is single and has not had a serious relationship since splitting with rapper Chris Brown, who assaulted her in 2009. She told Vanity Fair being famous had taken its toll on her love life, adding: “I mean I get horny, I’m human, I’m a woman, I want to have sex. But what am I going to do — just find the first random cute dude that I think is going to be a great ride for the night and then tomorrow I wake up feeling empty and hollow?I can’t do it to myself. I cannot. It has a little bit to do with fame and a lot to do with the woman that I am. And that saves me."
Revati natives radiate a very androgynous energy and have a highly integrated masculine & feminine nature.
Angelina Jolie (Revati Moon)
Karina from Aespa (Revati Sun atmakaraka)
Seonghwa from Ateez (Revati Sun & stellium)
Kristen Stewart (Revati Sun amatyakaraka)
Naks that serve the cosmic purpose of Moksha (liberation) tend to make its natives very playful and suggestive. Its unsurprising that April Fools is during Revati’s season.
Revati individuals love to play the devil's advocate, they often like to be the contrarian purely for the heck of it. They live for the shock value and love to get reactions out of people.
Most of the time, its harmless, however of course, there are certain individuals who take it too far.
(im sorry that this whole post heavily features AJ and a few others, its just that their lives are heavily publicized so there are more examples to draw from😔😬 a lot of Revatis are super private otherwise)
From kissing her brother, openly talking about her interest in BDSM, knife play and wearing her husband's blood in a vial around her neck, Miss Jolie is Revati's trickster energy at its peak.
Rihanna has definitely earned the "bad gal riri" title for herself. In the late 2000s & early 2010s she drew a lot of flak for posing topless and nude, going back to the boyfriend who physically abused her and even releasing music with him in the face of public outcry, often showed up high out of her mind to events and shows and made many many controversial statements.
Jennie's career has been mired in controversy from the day she debuted. She has Ketu in Revati. She posted this iconic picture during the height of her dating scandal which featured several personal pictures being leaked (or were they photoshopped?).
Cardi B (Revati Moon) is always in the news, mired in one controversy or another, from her admitting to drugging and robbing men as a stripper, to throwing hands and mikes on people to plenty of other things, Cardi loves to shock people.
Taehyung (Revati Moon) as Joker for Halloween many years ago.
Revati is the birth nakshatra of Saturn and the exaltation of Venus.
Pushan is Revati's deity and endows the natives with the shakti to "nourish and protect", these natives have a deep love for animals and children.
Pisces is ruled by Jupiter whereas Revati nakshatra is ruled by Mercury.
Revati is such an interesting and slightly unpredictable nak because of the combined energies of Jupiter, Mercury, Saturn & Venus. This can manifest as brilliance and giftedness or this can make an individual go astray into the darkness. Natural talent can make people lazy and arrogant.
Revati is also a Mridu nakshatras, noted for their 'soft, mild or tender' nature <333
This nakshatra belongs to the Shudra caste which is one of the lower castes.
Revati natives often feel like outcasts in group settings, like they don't belong and struggle with fitting in.
Their struggles can manifest as nihilism, make them cynics or turn them towards spirituality.
Revati has Kapha dosha which contributes to the sluggish nature of Revati natives. They have a frenetic energy but they're also a little slow and dazed if you observe them. This is the dreamy quality we associate with these natives.
Belonging to Pisces rashi, I feel like many Revati natives could fit the bill for ADHD and perhaps suffer from insomnia or narcolepsy.
the movie Angel's Egg (1985) is a very Revati coded film
it was a collaboration between the artist Yoshitaka Amano and Mamoru Oshii.
Amano has UBP Sun, Revati Moon (and stellium, with Mercury & Jupiter, his amatyakaraka and atmakaraka respectively).
I dont want to spoil the movie because its a dialogue less vibey 1 hour animated masterpiece.
The art that Revati natives make are very disorienting and confusing for others although they're perfectly sensible to the natives.
Human nature can be strange and disturbing, but due to the expansive nature of Revati, it can hold many contradictory thoughts and ideas. The final nakshatra is one which encompasses all the teachings of every other nakshatra, it contains the sum of everything, joining the cosmic ocean where it unites with consciousness and returns to nothingness.
In Ancient Rome, there was a senator Terentius Lucanus who brought a slave named Terence to Rome. He took him under his wing and educated him and soon freed him out of his amazement of his abilities. Terence went onto become a famous playwright around 170 BCE. One of his famous quotes was:
“Homo sum, humani nihil a me alienum puto,” or “I am a man, I consider nothing that is human alien to me.”
This is the best way to sum up this nakshatra. Out of unfairness, misery, poverty and darkness, these natives rise, overcome their challenges with ease and don't hold it against anybody. I am human so nothing human is strange to me.

Astrology-Mystery Of Rahu
Well, before we delve deeper into subject of Rahu, you have to understand what is Rahu in a person's birth chart.
Bad Rahu- In terms of bollywood movie character, imagine Rahu to be Khilji character played by Ranveer Singh in Padmavat Movie. A dark character full of desires, wild, breaking norms of the society and using manipulation to achieve things. Due to his excessive obession for the beauty of a woman(with out her permisson/consent), he broke all the rules of the society.
Good Rahu- Imagine a good Rahu impact to be Lawyer Govind- Character played by Sunny deol in Damini Movie. He was initially completely detached from his work of being a lawyer . But after a challenging situation appears, he once again stood up with his knowledge of law for the noble intention of fighting for justice to Damini.
What is Rahu?
Rahu is obsession.
Rahu is illusion.
Rahu is attachment.
Rahu is desire.
Rahu is physical proof of invisible things.
Rahu is all about breaking rules of society.
Rahu is future.
Rahu is manipulative.
Rahu is materialistic.
To understand Rahu, you also have to understand Ketu because Rahu and Ketu have same body in which Rahu is Head and Ketu is remaining body.
What is Ketu?
Ketu is detachment.
Ketu is spirituality.
Ketu is past.
Ketu works in invisible way.
Ketu is boredom.
Ketu represents nothingness.
Ketu is formless.
Ketu is experience.
Benefits of Rahu
Rahu give magical results in all the houses depending upon where it's lord is sitting. For example, If the lord is sitting in 8th house, then you should go for mysterious work. Universe will give you all favors in that. And if the lord is sitting in 5th house then you should go for creativity and entertainment. Here universe will give all favors to you. And so on.
Remember Rahu can give you vertical rise if you will choose right path and will give vertical downfall ,if you will choose wrong path.
How to get benefits of Rahu?
To get benefits of Rahu, one needs to respect his Ketu. When you will run behind towards a desire/material thing/goal, you will not get it specially in Rahu and Ketu Maha dasha or Antar dasha.
Rahu can give magical results if the person will have noble intentions, neither attached with the future desires and nor detached with past experiences. But should hold his past experiences for the noble intentions.
Note: If Rahu sits alone ,then it will work much better than it's sits or aspected by other planets.

Good remedy for rahuvian ppl is to practice gratitude and forgiveness. I think a common thing rahuvians struggle with is hoping for things to manifest beyond what’s possible and tangible in the present moment. They don’t know how to stop so they continue to blindly navigate their lives like this along with blindly putting their faith in others in assurance that their judgement is correct and that the ppl in their life won’t disappoint them bc of how strong they stand by their own convictions.
Rahu rules smoke so a lot of things aren’t being seen in a pure light. The countless times i’ve caught myself being like “this isn’t good enough” or expecting others to always have the right morals/values/answers only to be later disappointed made me more bitter about the reality of things. Rahuvians got big ol egos whether or not they accept/acknowledge it. They have a hard time with other people because of this if they don’t keep themselves in check. A little modesty wouldn’t hurt.
Acknowledging what is and what you have now and seeing people for who they truly are and accepting their flaws (bc surprise rahuvians, you too have flaws) rather than dwelling on what could be and how a person should act might pull you back to reality a bit haha
Shukra(Venus): Guru of Asuras
Venus is the planet of pleasure & satisfaction. She is the natural ruler of the 2nd house of money and values, and the 7th house of partnership and death. She rejoices in the 5th house of self expression. Venus is commonly seen for her beauty and bliss.
The essence of Venus is darkness as well. I do not say this with the connotation of “bad”, although there is much discomfort in creating harmony . All the houses Venus is connected to, there is desire and power, but there is also destruction and transformation.
The house Venus finds joy in is where we are often the most uncomfortable. The path of self expression does not always come easy . Self expression in the rawest forms isn’t the most pretty, it is often the opposite.
In the solar system Venus is the 2nd closest planet to the Sun. In astrology, her joy is found in the house that Sun is natural ruler of (5th). The 5th house is harmonious to the 9th house, where the Sun rejoices, Venus helps us reach enlightenment .
This is why she has exaltation within the 12th house. Venus understands that true awareness and acceptance is the key to your power. The 12th house holds our greatest vulnerabilities, as it rules our subconscious mind. Venus teaches us how to alchemize and exist freely.
Shukra is also a master of deception and illusion. Venus has its exaltation in the sign of Pisces, which can allude to fantasies and false realities. Venus desires to have control and can control its outer appearance through using awareness as a tool. Venus exalts im the 12th house also because of her ability to hide.
The 1st house is our physical name and individual self, but the 2nd house is our feeling of belonging towards a family name. Our response towards family identity. The condition of the 2nd house and 2nd lord indicates if such an affinity is beneficial to us or not.
The reason Jupiter is the karaka for the 2nd house is because our family identity is supposed to give us protection. It's supposed to give us a starter boost in life so we can move forward securely from that point on. But any planet in the 2nd house is going to produce attachment towards family name.
To give you a more interesting example, people with Nodes in the 2nd house tend to have a quirky or rebellious attitude towards their family identity. Rahu only pledges allegiance to their family name as long as it benefits them socially and raises their status. A well placed Rahu here gives immense family heritage benefits. Example - one of the Hadid models has this placement, definitely famous and good social status, the family name is what put here where she is, but probably is unhappy emotionally with her family behind close doors. I myself have a Rahu Mercury conjunction here, where Mercury rules the intellect, and I have inherited my family's brains on both ends, coming from a long line of clergy, doctors and professors and educated nobility. Ketu may make sacrifices for the family name at the expense of their own wishes in earlier years, just to flip the script and transform the family name when their time comes, because Ketu here tends to be old fashioned and calcified, causing difficulty to the native when it comes to adapting with the world, thus the native is tasked with burning off family name impurities.
I need to look up the chart of Turkish pop singer Tarkan because I swear this man has such a playfully sensuous voice that I have to wonder what's going on with his Mercury or 2H.
It’s in solar women’s BEING to disrupt the patriarchy. Wether its Jada Pinket being unapologetic about her past and the way she lives now. To Lori Harvey dating and living her life on her own terms. People have such visceral reactions to sun women disrespecting the patriarchy and whats “expected” of a women, and STILL getting the life they want. It blows misogynists minds that women can be confident, sexy, know what they want, and get it.

Following things aren't well explained by sages:
1) Way of analysing divisional charts
2) Way of analysing transits through Ascendant & transits through Arudha
3) Effects of Retrograde planets
4) Effects of Retrograde planet which is also combusted at the same time
5) What happens when certain planet is in certain house from certain planets. Example, what happens when Venus is in 8th house counting from Saturn
6) Planet's in conjunction with Rahu-Ketu (especially with Ketu)
7) What results are expected from planet defeated in planetary war
8) Effects of exalted but retrograde planet
9) Effects of exalted but combusted planet
10) What happens when Moon sign lord & Ascendant lord both are combusted
11) How to analyse paka Lagna (a chart which is made keeping Ascendant lord with it's sign placement in the 1st house
12) Even many popular charts like Indu Lagna, Ghatika Lagna, Hora Lagna, Shree Lagna etc aren't well explained
13) Way of analysing houses from Arudha Lagna is not well explained either (except in case of 1st, 2nd, 7th & 11th houses)
14) Arudha of houses aren't well explained
15) Arudha of planets aren't well explained
16) Popular concepts like Sadesati, Pitridosha, Kaalasharpa dosha etc aren't mentioned by sages.
Some of above concepts are explained by great astrologers like Matreshwara, Kalidasa, DhuNDiraja etc but there is no same view on any topic
Therefore, it's very difficult to differentiate between rumours and realities for the students of Astrology.

I would like you, if you can, to explain a question: I see people saying that Mars rules celibacy, What could you comment about it? There would be specific houses/signs that would reinforce this?
Mars is the soldier. While its naturally aggressive and fierce as a planet, it is carnal not sensual.
the difference between the two is that the carnal urge is a primitive. animalistic instinct hardwired into us through years of evolution.
sensuality is slow, builds with time and is pleasure seeking and indulgent.
carnality is raw, fierce and seeks immediate gratification. its a "need" or an "urge".
How would one describe a soldier? they're concerned with doing their duty but there is also a sense of urgency and immediacy to what they do bc in the warzone everything is very do or die (literally). this is the martian approach to sex. its the distinction between fucking and making love. (mars vs venus)
however this means Martian natives have a far more simple minded approach to sex. animals don't think too much, they just do what they're supposed to do. this is how soldiers are encouraged to be like as well. not to think but to act.
However, despite all this, Mars is not hypersexual. their approach to sex might be aggressive or intense but they themselves are not promiscuous.
we need to understand that celibacy in the vedic context refers largely to someone who is unmarried although it can refer to prolonged abstinence as well (more rarely). mars may be into primitive aggressive sex (this depends on placement, aspects etc as well) but Mars most definitely will not rush into marriage because of sex. In this context, we can understand that Mars is "celibate" not due to asexuality but in fact, its the opposite. they're not the type to rush into anything, although the stereotypes present them as being impulsive. they're only impulsive with the special someone they've chosen.
mars in scorpio is an extremely sexual placement. although id rather not rank placements, i truly think this is one of THE most freaky, sexy placements. scorpio is ruled by mars for a reason👀 and by nature both scorpio and mars makes a native very picky with their partners and very selective with who they see romantically. but with that one person, they'll go batshit crazy.
mars in 8h again reinforces this nature. someone with a lot of 8h placements or luminaries in 8h will also be highly sexual but not promiscuous. 1h placement can also do this.
”Dragon” Pretty 🐉
Spirited Away, Uttara Bhadrapada Moon Hayao Miyazaki
There are certain features i like to look for when i want to spot Uttara Bhadrapada.
Uttara Bhadrapada Moon. Gemma Ward
Uttara Bhadrapada’s possess a dragon-esque beauty with their high arched eyebrows with pinched almond shaped eyes and very strong jawline, and high cheekbones. Their eyes have a very intense look about them almost reminding you of a dragon. Uttara Bhadrapada’s deity is Ahir Budhyana who is the “Serpent Of The Deep” or Dragon Of The Deep Seas. And Uttara Bhadrapada’s beauty can also be linked to mermaids as mermaids(sirens) are water elemental creatures who also live in the deep seas
Uttara Bhadrapada Sun, Halle Bailey as Ariel in “The Little Mermaid” live action
Uttara Bhadrapada often creates unconventional beauties. I have explored Revati’s unconventional beauty being more seductive as to Uttara Bhadrapada’s which is more warrior-like almost like a dragon or fairytale-ish
Uttara Bhadrapada’s have wide set eyes which gives them a mermaid-esque ethereal look and a nose that is projected downturned(like a dragon) . Uttara Bhadrapada is a Saturn ruled nakshatra and Saturn gives amazing bone structures due to its squeezing nature which squeezes itself to perfection. Uttara Bhadrapada is “The Pressure Sculpted Beauty”, like how a gem is formed due to the strong pressure
Uttara Bhadrapada, Rya Kinlstedt/ Juliet Landau/ Sonia Ben Ammar
Uttara Bhadrapada’s are often labelled opinionated and divas due to their very strict tight nature as Saturn is very strict and can come off as terrifying. Claire explored how Saturn is the “Supreme Terrifier” in her Cinderella video and it adds even more sense to Uttara Bhadrapada and Dragon correlation
more softer Uttara Bhadrapada manifestations with a more soft full cheeks, cute tiny noses and wide set eyes which makes them look ethereal
Uttara Bhadrapada Moon, Lily James as Cinderella
Uttarw Bhadrapada is linked to Cinderella🦋
Uttara Bhadrapada Moon, Grimes
Grimes often uses ethereal imagery in her things

There are certain features that can be telltale signs of a nakshatra, even if the natives do not always look overtly similar across all feat
Uttara Bhadrapada Sun, Keira Knightley
“Elf Pretty”
Shatabhisa Moon, Audrey Hepburn
I have noticed Shatabhisa natives tend to look the elf’s with their long ears, pointy noses and especially their big rounded eyes which gives them a shy and timid look. Their Eyebrows are diverse and can come off in any shape but still give them a timid look and vibe. This Nakshatra is ruled by Rahu and mixed with Saturn. Rahu and Saturn are both ethereal planets in my perspective and when they both mix it often creates a ethereal beauty like those images of elf, fairies and mermaids you see on the internet that look so surreal
Shatabhisa Sun, Rihanna & Sophie Turner
Shatabhisa Moon, Vanessa Hudgens/ Shailene Woodley/ Kajol
Their lips are generally medium in fullness but are long. They have rounded-straight eyebrows* error
Shatabhisa Moon, Coco Chanel
Claire has explored Shatabhisa and briefly discuss Shatabhisa’s adoration for the colour Black
“When I find a colour darker than black, I'll wear it. But until then, I'm wearing black!” - Coco Chanel
Audrey Hepburn popularised the colour black with her performance at Breakfast At Tiffany’s
The whole technology, cameras & etc is related to Rahu and especially Shatabhisa. Shatabhisa’s are behind the invention of a lot of things and work behind the cameras. In Claire’s Dhanishta exploration she talked about how it’s the powerful Shatabhisa natives who control and exploit Dhanishta’s.
A preference for pixie cuts and ear accessories
“You can always tell the kind of person a man really thinks you are by the earrings he gives you.”- Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast At Tiffany’s
Shatabhisa, Sarah Michelle Gellar/ Camilla Cabello/ Sriti Jha
Elf In The Shelf 🧝♀️
Shatabhisa’s in the media
Shatabhisa Moon, Samantha Robinson
Shatabhisa Moon, Lacey Chabert

Cancer Girls: Baby Voice Edition
I've noticed a pattern with many female celebrities who are known for their "baby voice" and I thought I'd make a post about it. Since Mercury is what affects our voice and style of speech the most, I'll be looking at Mercury placements along with big 3.
Obviously not everyone on this list has a natural baby voice, in fact I'd say the majority of them speak in a very affected pseudo baby voice for which they've become known. I had previously observed how Cancer rashi women do this THE most but here are more examples.
Marilyn Monroe
The OG Ingenue who was known for her breathy baby voice. She has Rohini Sun & Mercury along with Ashlesha Rising
2. Pamela Anderson
She has Ardra Sun, Punarvasu Mercury and Mrigashira Rising
3. Paris Hilton
She has a Pushya Moon and is known for her fake baby voice which her mother claimed she learned from her.
4. Drew Barrymore
She is Punarvasu moon & Mrigashira Rising
Many have noted that a lot of famous Punarvasus have a slightly ditzy way of speaking/demeanour. Almost all Mrigashiras have a very hyper, enthusiastic, kind of frantic and restless way of being and talking. They actually embody "golden retriever energy". I think the combination of these two nakshatras results in Drew's childlike enthusiasm and kind of frantic manic way of speaking and behaving. A lot of people think she's weird 😭but it's just her nature, even Pamela Anderson who shares similar placements has a similar demeanour.
5. Wonyoung
She has Punarvasu Venus conjunct Saturn (both of them are exactly conjunct so idk which one would be her amatyakaraka) and she has received a lot of flak for her "fake baby voice" 😭 Her real voice is naturally deeper and more mature but honestly Wonyoung is such a good example of a Jupiter dominant woman; they are obsessed with presenting themselves a certain way and are very "image conscious", this truly extends to everything from clothes, style, etiquette, speech, voice, absolutely everything. They know exactly what behaviours will elicit what responses.
6. Halsey
She is Punarvasu Moon (atmakaraka) & Mars along with Swati Mercury & Rising
She's known for singing in cursive 😭 but also just has a very sugary high pitched speaking voice. If you observe her even she has a very expressive, animated way of speaking, she's not quite ditzy but she's still almost childlike in her demeanour from time to time.
7. Ariana Grande
She is Ardra Sun & Punarvasu Mercury and she rose to fame for playing a ditzy airhead on Nickelodeon. She in fact spent many years speaking like Cat Valentine off screen as well until she underwent an image revamp in the mid 2010s and adopted a blaccent.
This video shows how when she was younger not only did she have a fake baby voice, she also had a very different slightly ditzy demeanour.
8. Shehnaaz Gill
She is an Indian reality star turned influencer who is known for her baby voice and exaggerated cutesy mannerisms. She is Pushya Moon.
(the interview is mostly in Hindi but you can observe her mannerisms and way of speaking)
9. Melissa Rauch
She has Punarvasu Mercury (amatyakaraka) and played Bernadette on Big Bang Theory where she spoke in a distinctive high pitched voice whereas in real life, her voice is entirely different.
10. Kristen Bell
She has Punarvasu Sun & Mercury. She literally voiced Princess Ana in Frozen. Watch any interview of hers and you will see how expressive she is when she talks, she uses her hands a lot, her face is so animated and its so Punarvasu like🥰
(Tumblr does not allow me to embed more than 10 videos per post so I'll just be linking the rest)
11. Jennifer Garner
She's Mrigashira Moon (atmakaraka), UBP Mercury, Rohini Stellium (Venus, Mars & Saturn)
She's a very good example of a typical Mrigashira. She always speaks like a very sweet, enthusiastic kid; very expressive, very animated.
Here's a link to her interview.
12. Mandy Moore
She's Revati Sun (atmakaraka) , Pushya Moon, Mrigashira Rising
She voiced Rapunzel in Tangled and imo Rapunzel is Tangled is a veryyyy good example of Mrigashira behaviour in many ways but especially with her mannerisms and manic pixie like behaviour which makes sense since she was voiced by a Mrig actress.
Here's a link to Mandy speaking
Here's a link to Rapunzel in Tangled
13. Jenny Slate
She is UBP Sun & Moon and Punarvasu rising
Her sense of humour and how she delivers jokes is a good mix of UBP and Punarvasu
Here's a link to a stand up bit
I've noticed that many Pisces rashi folks (UBP & Revati) are very expressive storytellers and have a very specific style of delivery (Salma Hayek, UBP Moon is a good example and so is Rihanna, Revati Moon).
Jenny has the dryness/deadpanned delivery of UBP mixed with the expressive frantic style of Punarvasu
14. Anna Kendrick
She is Ashlesha Sun (atmakaraka) & Mercury (amatyakaraka)
She has that typical Cancer girl sense of humour and speaking style
Here's a link
15. Mindy Kaling
She is Ardra Sun & Moon, Rohini Rising with Punarvasu Mercury
She rose to fame playing Kelly Kapoor who is a very typical Cancer gal tbh, replete with the slightly ditzy, hyper & manic style and mannerisms and squeaky excited voice.
Here's a link to her being Kelly
Here's a link of her as Mindy Lahiri on The Mindy Project
`16. Leslie Mann
She is UBP Sun, Revati Mercury and Pushya Ketu
Here's a link to an interview but Leslie is such a good example of this ditzy, kind of naive way of speaking. Her mannerisms and the way she delivers is so Pisces girlie of her.
17. Lana del Rey
She is Ardra Sun, Ashlesha Moon & Punarvasu Mercury
Lana is a good example of an introvert Cancer gal. People often think they're kind of weird and kookie and they have a chaotic kind of manic pixie way of speaking and behaving that it throws people off.
Here's a link, her speaking voice sounds very young and soft.
18.Rose Byrne
Pushya Sun & Moon, Ashlesha mercury
She's usually more composed and elegant but when she's more comfortable you see that Cancer girl charm come out. One thing all these women have in common is how they like to act out their stories and be very expressive with their face and body; their sense of humour is very silly and slapstick.
Here's a link
19. Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice
she is Pushya Sun, Mercury and Venus
(isnt it sweet that someone whose alter ego is literally called Baby Spice is a Cancer stellium 🥺)
Here's a link but Baby Spice is also a good example of a less manic but still very cutesy Cancer girl
Many Cancer girls have a tendency to "act cutesy" or "babyish" but also more often than not they are just very in touch with their inner child and kind of goofy and silly.
20. Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen
They're Mrigashira Sun, Punarvasu Mercury & Ashlesha Rising
If you've watched Full House or any of their movies, you can see the ditzy girly girl behaviour of Punarvasu come out but irl they're more introverted and a little awkward, sort of like Lana and seem funny in a shy way.
Claire Nakti had observed in her Swati video about how Swatis and Punarvasus share certain similarities, I've seen this extend to their behaviour and mannerisms as well. Jennifer Tilly, Mila Kunis (both Swati Moon) and Emma Stone (Swati Sun) all have a very similar energetic girly, sweet and humble but kind of kooky and silly style of speaking and story telling.

Anya is live and ready to show you everything. Watch her strip, dance, and perform exclusive shows just for you. Interact in real-time and make your fantasies come true.

The transition between Rahu and Jupiter redefines the idea of greatness.
We start the Jupiter stage with benefits of Rahu. Children with Jupiter Nakshatras in their big 3 are born into some sort of privilege or feeling of specialness. They don't have to be privileged in a material sense, but they are brought up with an idea of uniqueness. There is a certain amount of hype around them, that comes with their birth. They may stand out from the rest of their family, which gives them a defining trait.
This is all that Rahu was asking for. Being able to embody this collectively recognised idea of belonging in uniqueness, after suffering so much oppression in Mars. The inflated ego, the endless perspective to dream whatever one desires to be, just to avoid the shackles of imprisonment from previous Nakshatra stages.
Yet now, at the Jupiter stage, that dream is proving to be nothing more than a hot air balloon, and when the air is gone, the balloon doesn't fly anymore. Just when we thought our dream reached perfection, it turns out to be a pipe dream. We discover, that being special just for the sake of the idea of being special can separate you from the crowd and lead to loneliness, and most importantly, inspires resentment as it bulldozes through people's feelings and problems.
Jupiter is where we first face the idea of collective problem solving through joining individual issues. In Jupiter, we don't live in an idealistic, mental space of perfection anymore. We embrace leadership through our struggle in order to join forces with those also touched with the same issues. Instead of creating freely, we learn that we have to create responsibly to bring in any real results and avoid falsehood.
Jupiter can initially result in a crash landing, as we discover how far reality departs from the original good ideas at the root of any imagined creation. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and Jupiter finds that out the hard way.
The truth we find out in Jupiter Nakshatras is that greatness needs to touch people in the heart space and impact their lives to be real at all. We can't just imagine that we're great, we need something substantial to back that up, and that something involves being capable of creation and problem solving in a way that benefits the world at large.
I'm kind of excited because I'm coming up on the Pai Team's Purva Ashadha video next and I've been really wanting to get to that one because of my speculations that Childe/Tartaglia is a PA.
