hi love. the second house shows you the cards that you've been dealt with in the material world and if you play your cards right, it unlocks material wealth. the cards we're dealt comes through our parents so our early childhood which is shaped by what our parents provided for us is seen through the second. we see the skills that we were born with, regardless of if these skills are nurtured or remain dormant—either way, these skills are avenues for material security because material security is our birthright. how you manifest things money can buy is seen through here. it's a material house so finances and self-worth are going to bleed into all 2nd house things, including what we value. another interpretation relates to the root chakra. we can look at the second house when we are looking to feel safe and secure in the material world, especially during these times where economic stability is a main concern. when it comes to natal vs solar return, the solar return 2H can show us what is physically materializing that year and what we are to prioritize for the year in order to expand our material wealth and make us feel more secure.

So. Structurally. What is the Cohort? Is it a Navy? One would think it's a navy. It is ship-based. It has admiralty (a rank exclusive to navies). More likely it has at least two branches--Naval for ship-to-ship combat, and a ground-based army-type deal (okay, more likely Space Marines) to deploy on-planet. But I just want to focus here on the branch that Judith Deuteros and Marta Dyas are in. In "Cohort Intelligence Files", Judith states that they are both attached to a ship (Rigor) and saw action on it. So they're navy, right?

Please forgive me here for citing US military rank charts--they're the most readily available, and ranks are relatively standardized between nations. There may be subtle differences here and there but as far as I understand none of these differences affect my point. So. Have a gander at this here visual aide:

In navies, officers get their first commission at the rank of Ensign. In navies, a captain is a senior officer who is In Charge of a Whole-Ass Ship. Even given the fact that the Cohort commissions officers at 14-15 years old, rather than 21-23, and even given the fact that Judith, as heir to her house, is a nepotism hire, no functional navy is putting a 22-yo in charge of a Whole-Ass Ship. This is supported by the fact that Judith and Marta were commissioned as "Second Lieutenants". Not "Ensigns."
