You might have been wondering where Letters from Watson vanished to. Didn't I say I was going to go back to the beginning and post the short stories again in 2025?

The the thing is, Substack is no longer a company that I want to continue to support (TL;DR it's attitude towards moderation means it's become a bit of a breeding ground for white supremacists and I don't want to steer people in their direction) but I had trouble finding another home for this behemoth of a mailing list which had 15,000+ people subscribed at its peak and was sending out 12+ emails a month. A lot of the quotes I got were in excess of $1000 a year, and while I love LfW... I have my limits.

So, I've migrated over to a Tumblr blog. If you use Tumblr, you'll be able to reblog and interact with posts containing the stories. If you don't, you can visit Letters from Watson to follow along.

If you'd like to continue receiving emails, I recommend using Blogtrottr - put in the website name and your email, and you'll get an email every time this blog updates!

I'm going to be making a few changes on the original format with the aim of shaking things up a little and being a bit kinder on myself. Namely I plan to do one email a week, and keep the short stories as whole entities rather than splitting them up. I also think it would be fun to read the stories in publication order. My plan is to begin posting in September.
