I am a conversation.

You guys helped me out a lot before and I’m here to ask you for help again. 

My friend, Maddy, is in a pretty tight spot. She went from living from shitty roommates that didn’t have jobs that forced her to pick up their half of the bills to really unhealthy situation with her aunt and uncle to finally living on her own. Great right? Nooooot so much.

Maddy is struggling living by herself with being paid weekly at a really shitty job that forces her to work in uncomfortable environments like forcing to work with a customer who sexually harasses her or not allowing her to take some time off when she’s sick (which because it doesn’t pay enough, she can’t even afford to take care of herself). And after paying rent, she struggles to have normal necessities like food and toilet paper. 

We’ve been discussing it for awhile and we’ve decided it’s both financially and emotionally better for both of us to be living together. I have money set aside but I also live paycheck to paycheck and don’t get help from anyone and also support my mom from time to time when things get tight for her. And then when Maddy needs it, I will make sure she has what she needs despite her objections (She doesn’t like asking for help, she hates asking her friends to do this for her, trust me. )

We’re setting tiny goals and building up. Our current goal is 200 dollars. Anything would help! And if you can’t donate, we would love it if you shared this post!
