I see alot of people complaining about how the minor characters names aren't being said but I think people are forgeting how in the BOTL during the funeral of the demigods who died in the battle Percy expresses his guilt of not knowing all of their names and he makes a comment about how he wishes he knew them. That's why they're are so many more named characters in The Last Olympian it's to show how Percy made the effort to remember their names. Thats also why I like that when a character's real name is said its never by Percy. It's Annabeth or Clarisse because they actually do have a connection to these kids this is their home.

Thinking about how in the Titan’s Curse, Percy can’t bring himself to tell Tyson that Annabeth is missing because “Tyson thought Annabeth was just about the coolest thing since peanut butter, and he seriously loved peanut butter” 🥺

Stories where the fair folk are actually uncanny/odd-looking instead of just conventionally attractive humans with horns and wings >>>>
