Hi. When you picture a flat chested person you picture some skinny athletic build right. So what could they to complain about right? Well coming from a flat chested fat girl. That’s right we exist not that anyone will tell you that right? I can buy clothing that fits me. Anything that fits my waist/hips is humongous in the bust for me. I can’t find properly sized bras because I’m apparently an anomaly. FLAT CHESTED PEOPLE HAVE REAL LIFE STRUGGLES TO. Stop putting women against each other. I have dealt with so much shit for being flat and not having a chest. Yes women with a lot of bust have to deal with shit. And that’s not ok. But flat chested women also face a lot of struggles. i do agree with you that replying to a woman who is talking about how she is being sexually harassed with an insecurity is insensitive and inappropriate. that’s not how your post read to me, though (in fact, the conversation was flipped… it sounded like a girl was simply talking about being made to feel shitty about her body and a trump card was being pulled out). i still apologize for my initial response, though, which was perhaps not the most understanding and/or sensitive. i don’t take issue with what you have just now said above, but, quite frankly, it is dishonest to not acknowledge that it tells/presents a different story than your original post does.
it’s certainly worse to be harassed/assaulted than it is to just feel insecure but that’s no reason to shame people for feeling bad about themselves. be upset at the villains in this situation and not just people who have been brought up to feel like their chests determine their worth
