Thank you to everyone who comes by to like the Coinleaf! Love the spam likes! We shall spread the good word like a virus. I have decided to make a post detailing the tags here so everybody can find things easier! it will make it easier for them to like/reblog my Coinleaf propaganda. Also, I'm not sure who actually goes to the desktop version of my blog to see these things in the side of my theme. So here's a tags master list for this blog!

Ya'll guys ever wonder how truly insane I am about this pairing?

Gardenias

Coiny/Leafy (romantic)

Coiny gives leafy a bouquet, and it takes place sometime in IDFB probably-

"Oh my tree..." Leafy said in wonder. Her eyes sparkled with the glow from the sun as she stared down at the bouquet of gardenias in her arms.

Coiny, feeling a little awkward at the intensity in her response to his gift, cleared his throat, and tried to change the subject.

"Hey, random question; but, why do you say that?"

"Say what?"

"Oh my tree?"

"Oh, uhm, I thought it was obvious, but, I am a leaf!" Leafy started in her friendly, over-the-top way. "And leaves grow on-"

"Yes, yes, I know-" Coiny waved his hand around flippantly. "I mean why tree?"

"Well, if you'd let me continue, before so rudely interrupting me, leaves grow on trees, so-"

"No- I mean-" Coiny sighed and facepalmed then said blankly. "Flowers."

Leafy raised an eyebrow. "What about them?"

"Leaves grow on flowers too, why don't you ever say 'oh my flower'?"

Leafy paused to think about it for a moment. "Because that would be weird."

"How is that weirder than tree?"

"We know someone named Flower!"

"And now we know someone named Tree. He's trapped in the LOL, remember? And you could just pick a specific type of flower too, you know. Doesn't have to be just flower, that might help."

"What, like rose?"

Coiny shrugged in response then sat down and made himself comfortable in the grass.

Leafy hummed for a moment lost in thought. "I don't know, I guess I just never tried to say anything different." Finally she settled down and sat beside him.

Coiny went back to admiring the sunset while Leafy rolled the idea around in her mind. She began mumbling something to herself and Coiny closed his eyes and pretended not to listen, while he strained himself to hear what she was saying.

mumble mumble... peony... Oh... mumble... lilac... mumble... my... hydrangea...

Coiny tried to hold back but couldn't help the smile that slowly grew with every word he could hear her say once he finally realized what she was doing.

Leafy stared down at the bouquet sitting in her lap that Coiny had given her before throwing her arms up and saying in a feigned exasperated tone. "OH MY GARDENIA- WHYS THIS SOUND WEIRD-"

Coiny finally burst out laughing beside her, unable to control what had been bubbling up inside, and she couldn't help but laugh along with him.

After a moment they finally calmed down and caught their breath. Somehow in their fit of laughter they both ended up laying down side by side. Leafy placed her flowers down beside her.

Oh my gardenia...

She'd never said it before, but she might start saying it now. Even if it sounded a little weird at first, it would be worth it to bring up such a fond memory if nothing else.

I wanted to think up a Coinleaf reason for Leafy to exclaim "Oh my gardenia, Ruby!" in bfb 19 given that she'd seemingly (unless I'm mistaken) always use "Oh my tree!" beforehand.

I know she's a lemon leaf, which is why "tree" but why gardenia?

Then I looked them up and read gardenias are known to symbolize; purity, admiration, secret love, trust, friendship, protection, and innocence.

It's just as the description says! It takes place in BFB 15 during the end credits scene! It's just that scene, but Coiny and Leafy actually have a longer conversation in which Coiny tries to talk to her on a deeper level

DESCRIPTION : "Leanne "Leafy" Chloro is just barely scraping by in her life. She never has motivation to do work, she dreads going to school, and her recent breakup with Flinn "Firey" Tinsteele isn't really helping either. So every time her mom asks her to stop by the store for groceries, she decides to treat herself to some sweets. One day, her mom finds out about her candy stash, and Leafy is forced to resort to lying. And then it all gets worse. Oops."

A humanized highschool AU Coinleaf!

Leafy (Leanne Chloro) is a kleptomaniac who steals some candy from the store she frequents (often) and when her mom catches her with the stolen goods, she comes up with a lie on the spot. That lie being that she has a boyfriend who gave them to her as a gift. Her mom presses her for a name and given that she'd just broken up with Firey (Flinn Tinsteele), who she still thinks she has feelings for, she can't say his name, so in a panic jumps to the next guy she can think of, which is Coiny (Cordell Zinco), who she shares a few classes with and knows as a good enough friend to help her out. Leafy makes a deal with Coiny who's crushing on Pin (Pia Alfiler) that if he lies to help her out, and pretends to be her boyfriend around her mom, she can help him get closer to Pin who she's good friends with.

Though, she doesn't really do this, and due to trying to keep up the image of them dating so her mom believes it, they end up hanging out a lot and soon Coiny and Leafy are both crushing on each other instead.

Pushing It Down And Praying

I feel like I recommended this before but I think the title changed? Or maybe it's just the same idea? It is a little different from the other one but also the other one was removed, so it's likely just a rewrite.

— OKAY, so it's Polybranches and not exactly Coinleaf, but it's still got that PRECIOUS COINLEAF in it, and I love it so much. Polybranches is great, but this blog is Coinleaf centric so I tend not to reblog it too often unless it's got something focused in on the Coinleaf, and this one does! :D

Leafy is going through it, struggling mentally, and trying to recover after having a full mental breakdown and killing herself, she is then recovered and given fluffy comfort from Pin and Coiny.

It seems that everybody is having a rough time here honestly, and Firey is being stupid but I think he's supposed to come around later. Chapters 4 and 6 are my favorites~ (you know why) Coiny and Leafy both have cute chapters with Pin, and Leafy is thinking about Firey often, I love it~
