Soo you know how Burning Spice is often belittled for having done what he did just because he was bored ?? How people will see an unreasonable brute monster in him more than the rest of the beasts for that reason ?

I have a hot take ; boredom, especially in Burning Spice Cookie's case, is gravelly uderestimated.

In and of itself, boredom is a form of exhaustion. It can both appear when you are not receiving enough stimulation and receiving too much. Despite the fact that eveyone feels it pretty often, it is a form of pain that can and in fact is proven to eventually drive you insane. Yet, people often underestimate how much of an issue it can become.

I assume that is why people will disreguard Burning Spices's struggles in comparison to the rest of the beasts, and it's fucking annoying. Those are not the quote of a character who is well off :

Sir, he is a tired man who has seen way too much death and who only stopped getting attached to things because he had enough of loosing them. He is bored yes, of the endless cycle of change and suffering he can not stop, and that he is tasked to oversee. How does this not sound maddening to you sir.
