I truly hope they donโt make mitsuo kubo into an irrelevant monster in the remake.

I definitely agree. I gotta say, in Persona 4 (or others, I'm not sure I haven't played them yet) Atlus tends to brush aside things that are really... Like, touchy. Like Naoto's gender thing was pushed aside, as well as Kanji's sexuality thing. They push away Mitsuo mental breakdown as well which makes me really upset, because all these things, people experience. Human experiences tend to be pushed away if they aren't... Normalized I guess? Not Normalized.
If they aren't seen as a regular human thing that real life people experience, it tends to be ignored. Something that also doesn't help, is the fact that it's from JAPAN and also from 2008. I'm not saying it's an excuse but it's a reason. Probably.
