Along with the anhinga (Anhinga anhinga), other personal favorites include the wolverine (Gulo gulo), the Eurasian magpie (Pica pica, with a subspecies known as Pica pica pica common across Europe), the striped skunk (Mephitis mephitis), the Eurasian eagle owl (Bubo bubo), and the infinitely memebable fish, the bogue (Boops boops).
