I don't think people get just how hot lazarus pits are.
They're steaming for a reason, people. They boil and bubble for a reason. They burn living beings alive like acid and bring back the dead in a fit of insanity. They're hot. They're flammable. They fuck you up.
Do not touch it, drink it, or submerge yourself in it unless you are gravely injured, on the brink of death, already dead, or if the water is being stored somewhere outside of the pit and has cooled off. If you're alive and well, you'll melt and burn like it's acid eating you alive from the inside out.
And if you want to keep your sanity in tact, take like, your mortal enemy in with you or something. Only one of you will come out and you'll come out perfectly sane.
So there, Lazarus Pit safety tips. Have fun.
And please, respect any spirits, deities, or fae that you may find guarding the pits. You'll not only piss off the guardian, but also the Al Ghuls.
