I took loose inspiration from pokemon cards for this style. The background wasn't planned, but I added it after seeing all the beautiful gouache backgrounds for old pokemon art! I really like how it turned out. The color scheme is pleasing to me.

Was inspired by Ghibli backgrounds for this one and I'm very pleased with how it came out ^_^ It's hard for me to draw backgrounds in general but I'm glad the group is pushing me to learn. I especially love the flowers!
