So like I am at a crossroads as to where I wanted to take the story originally and where I want to take it now, since we know Villainous will continue production.

But that’s not the only reason for my hesitation in writing TVoHW’s ending:

Because I actually grew really attached to the story concept of dark romance cosmic horror so much that I am very seriously thinking of writing an original self published novel, with the original ending I had planned for TVoHW. A lot of the plot and characters would have to be changed of course but the concept would essentially stay the same in spirit! So yeah, it is something I am already kind of working towards. This ending would be much darker than the other one I will more likely end up writing.

New Ending: Is more tonally “safe” in the sense that it would maintain the status quo that existed before Ms. A was taken by PEACE, may be just as dark in essence in relation to the original ending I had planned, though it would allow for easier integration and continuation of the current events of the actual canon cartoon - thus allowing me to continue with more Villainous shenanigans.

IDK, I thought I would just share for perspective and also bc of the investment other very awesome people already have in the story. I luv u all. ( Oh also, also - just as an aside! I am currently unemployed, I was let go of my job due to reasons outside my control and that same week part of my apartment kitchen burnt down lol so as they say when it rain, it pours. I don’t know if you remember me or the fanart I did of tvohw fic. Ever since I heard that Villainous would be returning next, I’ve return the dark crevasses and reread your story and it’s just as peak as it always was. And after finishing my last years of illustration and animation class, I’ve decided to take on a little devilish project of my own based on your fanfic and my still favorite chapter. Posing my old Villainous character I used to draw with a fresh new look and style in place of ‘Assistant’ position. So my question is: Are you prepared for a special malevolent surprise? 😈
