of course no one would ever feel strongly enough to move without thinking to save a friend's life. only if they're in love!

of course if you have big upset feelings about your friend being in love with you it MUST be because you're repressing the fact that you love them back the same way!

of course you would only feel strongly badly about your best friend's kissing buddy leaving him to get beat up within an inch of his life if you were in love with your best friend, everyone knows that being protective is a sure sign of romantic/sexual interest and not something that friends do for each other ever!

and it's not devastating at all, for your best friend to tell you he can't be friends with you anymore if you can't date, or at least kiss. Nevermind that we can all understand the opposite, that it would be awful to stop being friends because he's interested in you (and it would be! but it would be just as awful to stop being friends because you're not interested in him that way, but SOMEHOW that experience never matters, does it!!!)

a minor headcanon that I will die defending is that reigen initially assumed that mob’s supposed “psychic powers” were just how he rationalized his autism to himself. like here’s an obviously autistic kid, one reigen clocks immediately because he’s, well, reigen, and he’s talking about extra sensory perception and having powers he can’t control, powers that are scary. obviously, he assumes, this is something the kid picked up from his parents, a way for him to rationalize his alienation from other children— that no, you’re not “different”, you’re special (not even going into the parents who think their autistic children are like, aliens) and the other kids can see that you’re special and so they treat you like you’re weird and creepy and they don’t invite you to play and they whisper behind your back but it’s fine, because one day they’ll see how special you really are. and adult autistic reigen arataka, who was also probably-definitely bullied as a child, decides to nip that thought in the bud and gives the whole spiel, that no, “psychic powers” (autism) don’t make you special, and yes, they do make you different, and that’s fine because everyone’s different, and at the end of the day you have agency and you get to decide the kind of person you’ll be, so choose to be a kind one, and he sees this kid hanging off his every word as he tells him the kind of stuff he wishes someone had told him when he was so little and alone, and he mentally pats himself on the back and hypes himself up for another cigarette.

and then the kid makes a teacup float in front of him and he’s like oh. damn. can you kill ghosts

fuck god fuck i love summer. i love summertime so much. especially when it's not regularly 90 degrees 95% humidity. it's so blissful.....

i love dipping my feets in a kiddie pool to keep cool, I love an ice cold weak summertime beer, I love the smell of the AC, I love stepping outside into the heat from the cooler interior, I love wearing shorts and tank tops and no socks, I love lounging!!!!!! lounging without getting cold!!!!

i love how cooling it is to lay in a shady patch of grass, i love how languid and happy it makes my cats for it to be so warm, I love being able to keep windows open at night (I do wish my bedroom window was suitable for this but oh well!) I love continual fresh air access, I love when SUPER hot days are rare so it's kind of novel to hunker down during the heat of the day and come out in the evening when it's cooling off like some sort of crepuscular creature. I love the way the heat lingers in stones and concrete, I love that the sun doesn't set til 9pm. I LOVE THE SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love drinking icewater and feeling my core temperature drop, I love taking a cold shower and feeling how much hotter the water sheeting off me is (and how unintuitively long the coolness from it lasts after I get out!). I love sleeping with a big fan running, best white noise machine in the world. I love iced coffee (I LOVE ICED COFFEE) and ice cream oh i love COOKOUTS oh my god do I love cookouts, I love being the grill dad, picking out the best corncobs (if they're heavier that's a good sign). I love that first bite of watermelon when it's hot (I don't even really like watermelon! but that first bite ooooh baby)
