Now that I have a 100 day streak on Clozemaster I thought I should do a review. 

Clozemaster is a gamified vocabulary building app based off material from Tatoeba (a free database of example sentences). The developer said it aims to answer the question “What should I do after Duolingo?”. It seems best suited for intermediate learners so I have only been using it for Korean and not Japanese. 

Positives

More enjoyable than flashcard apps.

The free version doesn’t have ads and you can use it perfectly well. 

Wide variety of sentences and vocab - even swear words. 

Decent amount of content for Korean. 

Korean audio is decent (though a tad emotionless). 

Negatives

Most of the negatives come from the fact that everything is getting pulled from Tatoeba without any human review.

People’s names like 톰 come up as a key word or occasionally only part of a foreign word is used as a key word.

Occasionally get these ridiculously long sentences (like the screenshot above). 

Yeah there’s a lot!  This isn’t random at all :D  I love this trope :DD

YEAH! Who cares about plotholes or whatnot. Must The Last have a plot? 😩 Why couldn't it just be 1 hr of Hinata and Naruto flirting smh.

Naruto felt her move as she started to rise up from the bed.

She laughed softly and laid back down on the bed. She pillowed his head on her arm and with the other, ran her fingers through his hair, brushing gently, trying to lull him back to sleep.

He kissed her shoulder and sighed.

How about there’s this story like Hinata got hurt after they got married? There’s a doujinshi about this but it’s not enough for me. Naruto said something like, “now, you laid a hand on the Hokage’s woman, you’ve prepared yourselves, haven’t you?”

He ran then flew across the treetops. He could see them ahead and he knew that they knew who was pursuing them.

Naruto didn’t bother to hide his killing intent. In fact, he hoped they could feel it.

He was wallowing in his wrath because it made him feel better to know that he was putting the fear of God into them for hurting Hinata.

She was fine, he knew. And if he were being honest, he would admit that her injury wasn’t that bad because she’d actually taken down most of them before he’d arrived at the scene. Even though Hinata was supposedly “retired” from shinobi work, she was still a ninja at her core.

But she’d been bleeding, a not-so-shallow cut across her arm. One she hadn’t been able to block because ten of them had attacked simultaneously. Facing off against that many, somebody had inevitably been able to break through her kaiten shield and inflicted that kunai wound. Her clothes had several tears, her hair strewn wildly around her head, bruises on her arms and legs.

God, he’d hoped to never ever see her like that ever again. It reminded him too much of her fight with Pain.

Why do i ship naruhina?

Let's start with Naruto. An orphan who grew up with no actual experience of love and family, was forced to fend for himself and yet he still saw the beauty in everything. A guileless kid who never once gave up even if you forced him too. And here we have Hinata. An abused little girl who was pressured into becoming something she wasn't. Even at a young age, she was already carrying the weight of her clan's expectations, receiving her father's harsh words, draining her of her confidence and self-esteem, turning her into the anxious, broken little girl they made her. She had nothing. He had nothing. They both had nothing. Hinata didn't have a single speck of confidence inside of her until she saw her first ray of sun. Her sun that brought her out of the hole she had been sulking in ever since she was little. He helped her push forward, motivated her and supported her until she become the strong kunoichi that she was. I mean, can we talk about how much he hypes her up?? She sought to him as an inspiration, not a goal. Not an obsession, not possession but a harbinger of light that could pull her out of her shell. She wanted to become someone who was worth standing beside him, someone who she can consider as Naruto's equal. Not a burden, not deadweight, not a rival but a partner, a partner who could support him through all else.

While all Naruto wanted out of life was acknowledgement and love, Hinata already accepted him for what he was. With Hinata, he never tried to play the hero, he never placed on this mask or become the strongest shinobi just to be recognized. He never tried. Because he doesn't have to be. Because whatever he'll do, whatever he does, whatever he did, she'll love him. No matter what. Hinata treats him with so much love, kindness, patience and consideration, something he never once had as a kid. When everyone around him berates for even the sillest and dumbest thing, she'll still smile and look at him with so much love in her eyes because she loves and accepts him for who he is. But that' not to say she's "submissive" towards him. She's kept him in line and has been his confidant ever since.

Naruto is Hinata's sun and Hinata is Naruto's anchor. He's brightened up her life more than once and she's always kept him grounded. She's his rock, his pillar. Like can we talk about how much Hinata comforts him?? Throughout the years, she's ALWAYS been there for him. He's always so levelheaded and calm whenever he's around her. And the juxtaposition of their personalities makes it all the more adorable. They complement each other so perfectly that even their freaking color schemes match!!

AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THESE SCENES??

AND EVEN IN THEIR MARITAL YEARS, IS SHE STILL THE REASSURING, SUPPORTIVE TYPE OF WIFE. HE WAS LITERALLY DOUBTING HIS ROLE AS A FATHER AND YET HINATA SWOOPS IN **YET AGAIN** AND REASSURED HIM YET AGAIN THAT HE WAS DOING HIS BEST

AND AND THEYRE LITERALLY THE "DONT YOU DARE TOUCH HER OR I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU" TROPE.
