i cease to be strong, i am a fragile creature now. be careful what you say to me, the world is too hostile already. we’re made to be tough through a lack of kindness, not because we choose to but because we ought. i’ll be a small bundle that recoils from everything that intents to touch it with hasty hands. i’ll make myself weak and tender, like a little child who’s been touch starved and abandoned by their makers, like the one i was before i learned to be strong. this way the world will keep spinning but i will not move with it. i’ll remain still and untouched, how i was always meant to be, alone, unwithering.
