If there was one thing Georgina missed about her former self, it was the drama. In particular, the dating drama. Sure, she'd taken things too far and "ruined" lives before but it was all in good fun! And isn't that what life's supposed to be about? She shook the thought and instead turned her attention to Latife Levent.
Now, if Gigi couldn't do it then she could definitely enable it.
"Babe, no. I'll do it for free," she said, placing a dramatic hand over her heart. If there was a 'Good Person' award, she'd so be winning it now, right? "Even better, tell me who you're looking for and I'll line you up some options. I've got a number for anything."
"Good," Latife huffed, relief and determination mixing in her voice as she quickly reached out and grabbed the other's hand, pulling them along as she started walking with purpose. " I need a favor and more importantly, I need a makeover." She announced, her tone leaving no room for argument. Latife knew exactly who she wanted her to help with this transformation - Gigi. Gigi had a natural flair for fashion and beauty, and Latife was certain that she would relish the opportunity to doll her up.
as they walked, Latife's mind was buzzing with possibilities. "Honestly, anyone will work as long as they're cute." She mused aloud, a playful grin spreading across her face. "Boys, girls, and everything in between I don't discriminate." She gave a little shurg, the weight of her words carrying both confidence and openness. Latife had always been proudly pansexual, embracing the spectrum of attraction that she felt towards all genders, for her beauty and connection transcended traditional boundaries, and she was ready to explore whatever, and whoever - came her way.
Latife sat on the edge of her bed, staring blankly at the ceiling, the hum of the evening slipping past her in a haze of boredom and restlessnes. The soft glow of the bedside lamp barely cut through the gloom in her room, mirroring the dull ache in her chest. She had been scrolling through her phone for what felt like hours, but nothing held her interest. Nothing could distract her from the nagging feeling that something was missing.
she tossed her phone aside, letting it bounce onto the rumpled sheets. all she could think about was the sharp sting of rejection still fresh in her mind, a reminder that the person she wanted - hoped - might finally see her, had looked right through her. Again. And all they had seen was her twin.
It was always like that. She was Latife, yes, but too often it felt like she was just her twin’s sister. The thought made her chest tighten, a hot frustration bubbling up inside her. Her twin with her effortless charm and magnetic presence, had always been the one who turned heads. Latife, although cunning was the quieter one, the one lingering in the background, forgotten in the shadow of someone brighter.
don’t be mistaken she adored her stepsister. She loved her to bits. But being in someone’s shadow was never pleasant. Latife let out a heavy sigh, running a hand through her hair. She craved something different tonight, something more. she wanted to feel desired, feel wanted, to lose herself in the kind of reckless passion she only heard about. She wanted someone to see her for once- not as part of a pair, but as herself.
But the rejection had stung more that she wanted to admit. It made her wonder if she would always be overlooked, always be second place in the race she wasn’t even sure how to run. Was she really that forgettable. Would anyone ever want her, Latife, not just as an afterthought.
The boredom weighed heavier now, but it was more than just boredom. It was loneliness in disguise. Mixed with an aching desire she wasn’t sure to satisfy, maybe tonight she’d just try to drown out the thoughts with some music, or lose herself in a movie. But deep down she knew that what she wanted couldn’t be found in a screen. It was out there somewhere, with someone who would see her, but the question was - how long would she have to wait?
She had enough, she yanked the bedsheets away, brushed her teeth and showed her fabulous self to the crowd.
“Tell the world, Latife Levant is looking for a date - heck if you help me make a decent Tinder profile I’ll pay you 1000 bucks.”

day of birth
The thing about birthdays is that they should be special. But being twins it always felt like hers had to be shared, well in a way it was shared due to Nilay having the same date of birth. So when she walked into her condo, she bumped into her sister soon enough. Giving her three kisses on the cheek, she asked:" So what do we want our birthday to look like this year - whose invited - who isn't invited, and most importantly, can I choose the cake flavor?"

Jake couldn't stop the one syllabled laugh escape him as he turned his attention to her. "You're sorry?" He shook his head in disbelief, "That's really where you want to take this conversation? Whether or not I can tell you apart isn't the issue here. You lied to me."
It had been high school when this had happened and, based on clothes and how they presented themselves, Jake was now quite capable of telling them apart, but he didn't feel like he needed to defend that fact. "I needed a tutor and you-- what? Thought it would be funny to trick me?"
"Yes! Yes, I lied to you!" Latife was so fed up with this, everything. "You have no idea what it's like to be the lesser twin, less pretty and less smart." She crossed her arms. "You have no idea what it's like to like a guy, knowing he prefers your sister over you!"
"I tutored you, didn't I?" She actually had to study hard to make his grades go up herself. She wasn't a bookworm like her sister, and she certainly had it in her to get good grades if she wanted to. But her sister was better than her in every way, so she hated her. She hated her for being the perfect version of herself.

"Too much free time. Maybe 'Gossip Girl' has a PA or something to keep on top of it all," Sapphire joked, rolling her eyes at the thought. She flashed a grin as Latife tapped the chair, taking the seat gratefully. "That's true. I haven't exactly had the warmest reception since crashing back here. That might have more to do with me though." Sapphire didn't think she was a particularly good friend, you know? She wasn't particularly good for anyone. "If you did have one, it'd be legendary because you're legendary. You're still the star of all the best nights I don't remember."
"Too much free time." she agreed. "She had to meddle with my past relationship." She tapped on her phone. "I hoped he wouldn't find out about it." She sighed. "That I wasn't my perfect sister I mean."
She shrugged. Not allowing herself to feel bad about it. But hadn't she felt bad about it since she was an infant.
"Some nights are better forgotten doll, and if they don't welcome you with open arms it's because they are too stuck up with some buttplugs in their ass."
"I'll wait with baited breath should my dreams not come true and Gossip Girl does not burn to the ground," he added with a hopeful smile. William suppressed a sigh at the horrific truth behind her words. Waving a hand to the waiter, William ordered another two drinks. "Shall we drink like the world is ending then?"
"To the ending world, and what awaits us beyond," Latife said in a matter of dramatics. She wasn't sure if the world was ending now her secret got out. "You know, was it that bad to pretend to be my sister to get to the guy I liked?" She muttered to herself. Everyone liked her sister more, she was far more intelligent than she was. And honestly, she was a bit prettier too. She hated how small she felt when it came to her sister, but how could she not, her sister was perfection itself.
Jake sighed heavily and closed his laptop, speaking to the person nearest to him through the hand that rested on his forehead. "That Gossip Girl blast about me... She's saying I was dating Latife when I thought I was dating Nilay?"
@tfrstarters
Latife overheard the conversation and sighed. She shouldn't have ghosted him, but she simply got attached which meant she had to dump him - plus he was into her sister Nilay, not her. Never her.
"I'm sorry-" She stood up and swung herself into the chair opposite of him. "But then again, you can't even tell who I am right now, do you?"
"Both of them aren't as hot as Jamie Park though," Gigi grinned before adding- "Did you know she's Serena's godmother? I could die." She gasped dramatically, pressing her hand over her heart- "Depriving us. You're not, like, on a journey of 'being a better person' are you?"
"Me? If anything, I have been brooding in the dark of many fun plans." She bared her teeth in a wicked grin. "And I've seen no message about me on gossip girl, which is quite a shame really, I thought I did hold some significance in this town.'

"Rosalie Cullen, if you really wanna know," Gigi corrected before grinning- "But I'd definitely have Damon if he's on the menu. Speaking of-- when did you get back, bitch? Hi."
"AH, Rose, a woman after my own heart." If that wasn't literally. "Who wouldn't." She agreed to the Damon menu thing. "I've been here for a couple of months - I have just been out of the public eye for most of it."
"TBH, I didn't think that vampires were hot anymore but look at these press pics of Jamie Park in 'Friday Night Bites'. I am deceased." @tfrstarters
"Oh please, like you didn't have a drooling over Edward Cullen phase." Latife said with a smirk. "That or you definitely were into Damon from vampire diaries."
