This wcc win was just as much Oscar's as everyone else's in the team. Do these dumbfuck 81s seriously thing they wouldn't have allowed him to go there and celebrate with the rest?

Desperately trying to make him seem like a poor little victim, all on his own, against evil little Lando Norris. And this is what makes me so angry. They hate Norris so much, they refuse to see through Piastri and his antics. Hard to tell who is more vile, 81 or his fans.

Lando in Miami: actually part of the team celebrations, gets cropped out of socials anyway. Oscar in Singapore: ignores the team on the radio because they let Lando race him in lap 1/62, bolts to media duties instead of celebrating in parc fermé.

One of these is a giant baby and it ain’t the guy that stood on the podium today.

piastri, on the other hand, throws a fit the moment things stop going his way. sulks, vanishes, acts like he’s too good for the people who pour blood, sweat and tears into making the car fast enough for him to even be in the fight.

like why is lando not allowed to race with him to gain positions?? idc if he wants that championship, lando does too 🤷‍♀️

Lando's parents had shit tons of economic capital but very little cultural or social capital when it comes to racing. Even more so because both of his parents grew up working class, so they don't have the connections and knowledge that those coming from the aristocratic classes have (especially in such a classist place as Britain).

Lando pointing out that Max had *adequate* economic capital, along with shit tons of social and cultural capital because of his father is literally facts. It helped him to become the driver he is. Period.

And I remember, Lando has millions of fans. Smart fans. Fans who see it, call it out, and refuse to gaslight themselves into thinking it’s “underperformance.” Suddenly, I don’t feel insane for pointing out what he’s up against, because we’re not alone.

In Lando's Vogue interview (yes I bought the magazine, perk of being British for once we got the magazine 🤣) and he said that his priority is being happy in life not being champion, as in there is more to his life than F1...and people RIPPED INTO HIM.

And I just have to say you have to be one of the most miserable people on the planet with no happiness in your own life to find fault in Lando saying that...genuinely you must be so insecure and unhappy in your own life if Lando saying that being happy is his priority.

I don't remember anyone trying to harass and target Max when he said that winning is nice but his family and loved ones are the things that mean most to him.
