What I would imagine the drivers careers would be if they weren't F1 drivers:

Max - Stay at home dad (possibly even a teen parent bc in every life he over achieves as a teenager)

Hadjar - Probs follow his dad's footsteps and gone into physics, maybe not quantum physics but similar pathway

Charles - Model, I still think he would've found fame with the amount of connections he has from being in Monaco

Lewis - Probably PT, coaching or something. Not teaching bc I don't actually think he has the patience for teaching kids but maybe he could get away with training adults. Definitely would've needed something for the excess energy so an active job. Maybe even a dog trainer?

Alex - Working in an animal shelter or a zoo

Carlos - Strategist, I still think he would've ended up in motorsports even if he wasnt a driver tbh

Lando - A professional nepo baby. Sorry not sorry, but he totally gives that vibe that if he'd never found a passion he would've probably been a totally South-West partier. Probably go to uni purely for partying and scraping a business degree.

Oscar - Mechanic. I don't think this requires explanation.

Bottas - Cyclist, or some sort of extreme sport athlete. Like the non-motorsport shit you see from Red Bull's pages.

Checo - General businessman, sort of ominous. Like you'd say "oh he's a business man" but never truly know what the fuck he does.

Bc I'm not actually a massive Mercedes fan (have disliked since Silver War, I have my reasons) idc about who wins. I have defend George a lot recently but that's bc seeing George being so openly disrespected by Toto is ridiculous. But I actually don't care which of hem wins, I'm maybe leaning towards George purely out of spite of Toto but if Kimi takes that win I'd love to see that too.

They surely have permission to fight so long as it's clean. So Lando better stop asking for intervention and fight if he wants this win or push Oscar into a mistake that lets him pass with ease.

What if Max only wins one race this year and it's Singapore. The only track he hasn't won at that's on the current calendar.

Hell even I thought "well obviously Toto's got a young driver in next to Lewis to learn before Lewis retires and then carry that knowledge from the most successful F1 driver into his own victory story" - and yes I do still believe Lewis should've retired with Merc, idc don't bother trying to fight me that's my opinion - anyway I think Toto truly had George manipulated into thinking when they had a good car it would be all about him at least at first.

I think he even probably believed that Kimi would be pushed to the back burner for the next couple years to come to grips with everything while he took priority. I'm not saying it's right for him to think that, but we know these TPs are saying things to drivers to keep them on their driver lineup or they're making indirect promises of things that they have no intention to fulfil.

Idk obviously I been thinking about it recently, I'm sure we all have, and Merc looked pretty weak in qualifying. I'm sure they'll fight back in race, but still...this is all just sad to think about

Like let's stop and be realistically critical here, in there is no way he's moving to a team where he will not be the number one driver, I honestly don't believe that Toto would put Max above Kimi especially if he takes the title this year, Max would get in the way of Kimi potentially getting multiple championships (truthfully he doesn't need another brocedes moment but father/adopted son edition) and there's no way he's going to take a seat with such an unreliable car. At least the unreliability with Red Bull still comes with being treasured as the top dog.
