❄️ The stranger in the snow ❄️

In the dead of night when the world was silenced by a fresh blanket of snow & drenched in moonlight, a stranger payed the forest a visit.

A digital portrait I made of an older OC of mine a few years ago in 2020!! This was my first attempt at doing greyscale and I’m still incredibly proud of how this turned out!!

Started on the new ref sheet for my OC Dominic!! He’s been needing a new one for a few years now and Artfight is a great reason to update it!!!

Another digital portrait I drew in one day for an art challenge back in 2020!! I just love the soft colours throughout this piece!

I made this digital portrait as part of a challenge, where I had to draw portraits in one day for a month! This one is probably the one I’m most proud of that came out of that challenge!

Here’s a small collection of oil paintings that I have made in the last couple years! I don’t paint, traditional portraits as often as I’d like, as it’s a bit more time consuming than digital portraits.

I also usually only paint traditional oil portraits that speak to me. So when I do paint one, I’m pouring my heart and soul into it! And I hope I captured the feeling that the original photographs gave me!

The game is on!

This is probably the portrait I spent the longest on! I remember seeing this image of Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock and just seeing how the light caught his blue eyes and knowing I had to absolutely draw it. I wanted to bring a moody & mysterious vibe with the moon shining down on him as the fog rolls in.

One of my first realistic digital portraits I’ve made! (All the way back in 2018/2019!) Mark has always been a big inspiration to me! And I wanted to create something that challenged me and pushed me into even, further beyond!!!!

But really this was the piece that proved to me that it really was possible to improve my drawing skills and allowed me to keep going!
