if you had a good 2025, I hope it continues. if you didn’t, I hope 2026 is a wonderful brand new start.

my year did end better than it began, I never would have believed at the start of 2025 that I’d be living in my own apartment. I’ve only been there three months, and yes, it’s a big difference financially (not in a good way) but it has been such a relief to have my own space and know I can come home and have peace.

I also changed jobs at my office in 2025 and it was one hundred percent a change for the better.

other things still aren’t great. I won’t list out my grievances, but finding joy in the day-to-day is still hard for me.

I don’t even want to say it, because it seems unlikely to happen, but I did try to write another short part to ITBASM in 2025. obviously I didn’t finish it otherwise you all would have heard about it, but I haven’t deleted it or anything. maybe someday I’ll just post a summary of what it was supposed to be, or share the unfinished bits and scraps.

I’m still working on the original story I started in 2023, one of my resolutions is to finish it this year, but writing is such a struggle for me now, which is really disappointing. but I’m not giving up, I want to see it completed.

how well Gwil captured Brian May

I’ve finally unpacked at my new apartment (how have I been here over a month already) and I found so much Queen stuff that I completely forgot I had. and that’s not even all of it, there’s more stuck in a couple other places.

I don’t want to add it all up lol but if you included the money I spent on seeing Queen (and the trip I took to another country just to see Gwil in a film) I think I spent a pretty penny on this collection.
