"Who was it, maybe Raoul Vaneigem, who wrote something about how we are trapped between two worlds, one that we do not accept, and one that does not exist. Itâs exactly right. One way Iâve been thinking about it is this: the calendar, as map, has been split down the middle, into two chronologies, two orbits, and they are locked in an endless spinning antagonism, where the dead are what tend to come to life, and the living are, well you get the picture. Obviously, only one of these orbits is visible at any one time and, equally obviously, the opposite is also true. Itâs as if there were two parallel time tracks, or maybe not so much parallel as actually superimposed on each other. Youâve got one track, call it antagonistic time, revolutionary time, the time of the dead, whatever, and itâs packed with unfinished events: the Paris Commune, Orgreave, the Mau Mau rebellion. There are any number of examples, counter-earths, clusters of ideas and energies and metaphors that refuse to die, but are alive precisely nowhere. And then there is standard time, normative time, a chain of completed triumphs, a net of monuments, dead labour, capital. The TV schedules, basically. And when a sub-rhythmic jolt, call it anything, misalignment of the planets, radioactive catastrophe, even a particularly brutal piece of legislation, brings about a sudden alignment of revolutionary and normative time, as in the brute emergence of unfinished time into their world, it creates a buckling in its grounding metaphor, wherein that metaphor, to again misuse HĂślderlin, becomes a network of forces, places of intersection, places of divergence, moments when everything is up for grabs. Well, thatâs the theory." â Sean Bonney in Letters Against the Firmament (two)
Hey, I'm quite new here and wanted to see if you (or someone else) had a master post or maybe a chronological list of what the fans have noticed about SC over the years? Thank you!
Dear Quite New Anon,
Whoever you might be and whatever brought you to our shores - welcome!
In my humble opinion, there is no definitive SC 'receipts' master post, but there are certainly a couple of threads - or maybe more - that try to offer a chronological perspective, albeit incomplete.
I strongly encourage you to try and interact/engage in DMs with shippers whose blogs you read and like. If they choose to answer, it's always rewarding.
I will just give you one of the chronological threads I could easily find on my dash. But I am sure there are more of them, floating out there: https://www.tumblr.com/i-ship/812063319185883136/sdreamersc82-mummygolucky-tithora?source=share
Comments and additions are always welcome. Thank you all for lending a hand. đ
My contribution to the Misfits in Toyland TVtropes page is a comprehensive chronological timeline:
As a Timeline subpage, spoilers are unmarked! You have been warned! Unknown: Krampus is born to the Alpine goddess Perchta. 312: Taking huma
SCP Foundation Universe Timeline
I made this a while ago for something else, and I decided I might as well touch it up and drop it here as reference material. Covers a timespan of a little over 13.8 Billion Years.

the Mozart, Salieri et al reference doc
containing: a 14-page (as of now) timeline including footnotes, a 30-page very random collection of trivia... and some other stuff
I've been thinking of sharing this - it's still a bit all over the place, but it's cleaned up as much as I can in the short term, so here it is!
A non-exhaustive chronology of the lives of Mozart, Salieri et al. // Any work with no attribution is Mozartâs. See Notes and Annotations f
The document was started to collect information for my fic (hence appendix... to the fic), and it's still noticeably directed by the events/time-period of interest there, but it's also become (especially the chronology) a very handy general reference. For an idea of the stuff that ended up in the Big Timeline:
life events (births, deaths, moves, travels, marriages, initiations, employments, change of houses, etc etc etc) of Mozart, Salieriâ and the people in their lives
major works (especially operas) by Mozart, Salieri, plus a few other contemporary composers
(sporadic) historical events (Joseph II issues another decree, things go mad in France, Austria fights a war, etc)
The rest of the tabs contain a range of very random information (half-assed collections of letters, a bunch of birthdates, the MLOR script, and some niche but pretty useful context on the time period and Salieri's life). The sharing setting is currently set to View-only, but if there's anything you'd like to suggest (or I'd gotten wrong) do not hesitate to yell at me.
Here's to the hope it makes another nerd very happy!
