Conxuro da queimada

El Conxuro da Queimada es el famoso hechizo recitado en la tradición gallega para espantar a los malos espíritus (meigas y trasnos) mientras se quema el aguardiente. Aunque evoca raíces celtas, su texto actual fue escrito en 1967 por Mariano Marcos Abalo en Vigo.

The Conxuro da Queimada is the famous incantation recited in Galician tradition to ward off evil spirits (witches and goblins) while the aguardiente (a type of Galician liquor) is burned. Although it evokes Celtic roots, its current text was written in 1967 by Mariano Marcos Abalo in Vigo.
