oh god i feel you 😭 during the last heatwave, our house reached 30°c in the late afternoon and BARELY cooled down overnight. i could not sleep at all.

also YEP.

the thing that really pisses me off is how fast we've brushed the climate crisis aside. as a kid, i was made to feel like it was the world's biggest problem (and it is!). and for a while governments and businesses at least looked as if they were keen to set ESG goals, find greener energy sources, reduce waste etc... now everyone's reverting back to oil and building swathes of ai data centres, without even acknowledging the repercussions.
