Thatâs the face you make when youâre the product of a democratic socialist utopian culture where the very concept of currency no longer exists and theyâre still somehow not paying you enough to deal with this shite.

Spock is weirdly fun to draw flusteredďżź

when shane gets ranked hottest in the mhl (or wtv it was, handsomest? sexiest?) a lot of people were saying ilya would have ranked higher if it wasnât for his bear tattoo. specifically the comment that goes viral is âitâs like putting a bumper sticker on a bentley.â so naturally ilya posts a picture of himself shirtless leaning against the bentley that he owns with a boston bears bumper sticker proudly on it like âokay. what about it?â
If you're writing anything involving cons, scams, heists, or morally questionable characters who are very good at lying, here are some free resources I've been using for research. Saving you the "why is this in my search history" anxiety.
1. The FBI's Famous Cases & Criminals archive (fbi.gov/history/famous-cases) has detailed breakdowns of real fraud cases, Ponzi schemes, and confidence operations. The language they use is clinical and precise, which is perfect for getting the procedural details right.
2. The FTC Consumer Sentinel Network publishes annual reports on the most common fraud tactics in the US. Great for understanding how modern scams actually work and what makes people fall for them.
3. The Smithsonian's American Art Museum has a free digital collection of forgery case studies. If your character forges documents or art, this is gold.
4. Court Listener (courtlistener.com) is a free legal database where you can read actual court transcripts from fraud trials. Want to know how a real con artist talks under oath? This is where you find out.
5. The Internet Archive's collection of old newspaper crime sections. Search for "confidence man" or "swindle" in papers from the 1920s through 1960s and you'll find incredible real stories that would feel too dramatic for fiction.
Bonus: The Psychology of Fraud section on the Association for Psychological Science website has accessible articles about why people trust, how deception works cognitively, and what makes someone a convincing liar. Essential reading if you want your con artist characters to feel psychologically real.
Reblog to save for later. Your WIP will thank you.
For the love of the game and for your Leonard "Bones" McCoy editing needs, I made a compilation or whatever this is called of almost every single "editable" frame where Bones is visible in the ST Movies.
McCoy Scenes (ST Movies)
Some scenes have been cut to only show his face (so dialogue and audio is abrupt), while some are not entirely surgically cut in order for you to have some sort of transition (from one scene to another), or to simply show a major McCoy scene you'd probably want to cut to your own liking, and for many other reasons.
Enjoy and lemme see the edits!
This comic was cowritten by the real Nurse Chapel (who needs to do this after the work week sheâs had) AKA @psychoticpterodactyl16

In the burial mounds....Just a normal day
Yes, we all know Captain Kirk is very in love with the Enterprise, but he wishes he was on Scotty's level. Scotty is absolutely, derangedly in love with that ship. And every time that that is mentioned it is the FUNNIEST thing,,,
For example on 2x15 "The Trouble with Tribbles" when a klingon basically says that Captain Kirk is a little bitch, Scotty literally just scoffs and is like "heh... we're big enough to take a few insults, calm down Chekov" but the second the klingon says that the Enterprise is a piece of garbage he's over the table ready to throw hands.
Another moment that I also found very funny was on 2x20 "Return to Tomorrow" where the capitan is trying to convince everyone of taking a pretty bad desicion (letting Spock, Jim and another officer momentarily give their bodies to aliens blahblahblah, your typical tuesday for the crew) and he says something about how these aliens could help them have engines the size of walnuts.... safe to say Scotty absolutely FOLDS that instant.
