it tells the story of Alan Turing in the second world war and Benedict Cumberbatch did such a fantastic job

in my opinion a VERY underrated movie starring the wonderful Anton Yelchin and it’s funny and a bit scary i guess

i will NEVER get over this movie. it’s absolutely incredible. Emma Thompson and Fionn Whitehead were so good. its a heartbreaking story and so beautiful yet, well heartbreaking to watch but one of the best movies ive ever seen

i believe its not really a movie for crying. its a drama i guess? i cant even explain why i love it so much but it really is a great movie and Jared Leto and Matthew McConaughey deserved their Oscars for this

the pursuit of happiness, 7 pounds & collateral beauty are three will smith movies that make me cry like a baby and im not ashamed. they’re incredible watch them all

dunkirk

im a bit of a slut for history/war movies and i cry at all of them. add Cillian Murphy and im gone. Dunkirk tells a story i personally never heard of before i saw the movie and as bad as it was the movie is fantastic. incredible cinematography, great actors (fionn whitehead, tom Glynn-Carney,..) definitely recommend

i belive this was about the first (?) marriage between a black woman and a white man in the usa (illegal at the time)

its honestly such a good movie no one ever talks about which is sad

it only made me cry at the very end but that counts

how do you say goodbye, you know? it’s not an unfriend and block kind of situation. but you watch the people you once loved go on and have a life and you’re outside of it. and it’s bittersweet because of course it’s okay that you’re both thriving. but she used to be who you’d call if you needed to cry. she used to be who’d you’d be binge watching the new series with. you used to be hers, in a way, even if that way wasn’t permanent. and now she’s someone else and so are you and your friendship is clicking heart shapes next to pictures where she smiles next to people you’ve never met. you know where her birthmark is. she knows where you’ve buried your dead.

I had to find a new identity. A new me. It wasn’t easy.
