Finally had the time for this project. Nick, one of the capuchins I worked with at @junglefriendsprimatesanctuary , was a retired lab monkey used in behavioral research. In the lab Nick had been trained to trade something of lesser value for something of high value with the researchers. Nick would always carefully select a twig or branch, toss it at you, and hold out his hand demanding a treat. I saved some of the things he “traded” with me and used them to make this painting!!
